A 'Bro' is someone who gets belligerently drunk as quickly as possible Checkdisregards things such as sunblock and proper hydration Noonly cares about asshole bands Half Checkharasses women to impress his buddies Nowears puka shell necklaces Nois inclined to intentionally lash out against the more mild mannered revelers for asking him to contain his shit Half Checkis equally inclined to unintentionally lash out against more mild-mannered revelers by virtue of the fact that he is belligerently drunk Half Checkis of a mind to wrassle with his buddies Checkwill most likely have a sack full oof roofies in his double-wide asshole sized camper. NoPea = 39% bro. -10% for being a meme nerd. Pea = 29% bro.

Electronic Friday is a classically terrible idea. There's three more days of festival left after that, for chrissakes. totally agree Monday makes the most sense to me - just have a total blowout to end the weekend. as I always say, fuck Tuesday.

The 2 years I've been to Sasquatch I have never had a problem with the crowds at all. In fact it's the opposite, everyone I meet is awesome and I always make new friends each year. The only festival/concert crowd that even rivals the awesomeness of Sasquatch was Snowglobe in Tahoe over New Years.

Okay. sexually amazing picture - I do have to say...
I did modify wrassling friends to making out with friends... Thus, I'm 55% bro.

Saturday night makes the most sense for the big flashy-light dance party freakout. Drunk Friday, Drug Saturday, and then manage your shit the rest of the weekend the best you can.
As it is, I'm going to have to adhere to a pretty strict regimen all four days if I'm gonna stay on my feet until that bitch shuts down Monday night -- so god damn. What are you trying to do to me, Sasquatch?

As it is now, I forsee burning out a bit by Sunday (which would maybe fit for Bon Iver anyway) and then getting back at it on Monday.

What the fuck do you mean you don't know what a Bro is? Haha, this and basically living the GTL lifestyle with a ridiculously lifted truck as your "ride."

My fingers are crossed that The D will be playing on Sunday or the same day as Beck. Otherwise I will be forced to buy a four day pass and I can't afford that shit for two people.

Shows are a lot more enjoyable when the crowd is full of people you would probably get along with in normal life. fascist! seriously though, one of the reasons I love sasquatch so much is that the crowds are the best and the energy is amazing. it's probably at least partly the opposite of that free show thing you were talking about - it's SOFA KING expensive meow that people are only there if they actually give a shit and want to enjoy themselves. so I wouldn't worry too much about the bro count, bro. I was never bitching about the bros, just pointing out that people can make shows less fun if they try hard enough. As far as I'm concerned the bros are easy enough to get along with as long as you just party with them and don't talk about actual music or anything other than how fucked up you are right now. If they don't ruin shows I want to see, me and the bros get along just fine.

Oh shit! That new Lanegan album is fucking awesome. I saw the Gutter Twins back in 2008 and it was a pretty decent show so I was planning on catching Lanegan if it all worked out at Sasquatch. meow I definitely want to make this work. I haven't heard the whole album yet, but I like it so far and I imagine it would be one hell of a show if he has enough personnel on stage to recreate the sound.

Yeah, I still have to ask myself if I am really ready to throw down $630 for tickets, but then I think if I go I might as well make the most of it. So, it is kind of all or nothing for me. I think I have pretty much talked my self into it though. This is a pretty solid lineup, and I think I'll be getting my moneys worth if I count all the artists I want to see.

Okay sorry about my lesser knowledge of bros..I'm from Montana we don't get out much over here Where are from? I'm from Polson, and I have a pretty good general idea. Bros are everywhere. Your average high school jock party boy would be considered a bro. Just new terminology I suppose.

I didn't see Mark Lanegan until the fourth or fifth time I looked at the lineup and then was so excited. Then I excitedly told my boyfriend and he told me we had talked about them for like half an hour the night before. Oh lineup party. But anyways, I'm excited to see him. I've never seem him in any incarnation yet.

I have never had an issue with people at Sasquatch. HG would do well to remember darling Lil' Shia and remember we can all party next to each other even if we don't party quite the same way.

Ahh, Lil' Drunk Shia. The exception that proves the Bro Rule, as well as one of the most bizarre instances of Sasquatch Magic on record.
