I got to Grade 3 in piano but a kid in grade 3 would probably be better than me.

You guys, I'm getting amazing ideas. Anyone who is available in the Seattle area Wednesday night (the day before the day before Sasquatch) should come to the flat and jam. We record the jam, designate some DD's, and then drive to Sasquatch caravan style and storm the fuckin' gates Tenacious D style. We park in an area that is fairly close to the entrance/general store and blast the fuck out of said jam on my sweet car stereo or somebody else's sweeter car stereo. All boarders will be informed that we are blasting the atonal-loud-as-fuck jam with HG on accordion, and will flock to our glorious noise. We party. Best Sasquatch ever. Everyone who wasn't in on the pre-festival jam wants in on the post-festival jam. We caravan back to the flat, our numbers growing exponentially. The Sasquatch Board Band takes on the world and end up headlining Sasquatch 2015. World tour follows. We make the mistake of traveling to Japan and are attacked by those crazy 3 meter spider-crabs from that scale of the universe diagram that davers? posted, but are eventually able to calm them down with our new hit ballad. They join the band and we now have a backing percussion section of giant spider-crabs.

I like where that story went.
I've always wanted to get an eclectic mishmash of non-powered instruments together for a jam session in a festival campground. I have a Cajon, Melodica, various guitars, Xylophone, Harmonicas, Tambourines and shaker eggs to contribute hopefully next year.

Burrito, that idea is fucking stellar. Up to and including the giant crabs. It's a logistical nightmare, but I feel like it needs to happen anyway.

This is fucking happening. We, and by we I mean HG or another mod, should move these posts to a new "Sasquatch Board Band Jam" thread and get the balls rolling.

I can play maracas and Rock Band fake drums. But what I lack in skill I make up for with heart. And volume. And disregard for the opinions of others.

Acoustic guitar, electric guitar, acoustic/electric guitar, bass guitar, slide guitar, analog drum kit, digital drum kit, digital hand-held drum machine from the 1980's, Casio keyboard, Roland keyboard, Yamaha keyboard, the other Casio keyboard, vocoder, enough delay pedals to cover Battles, and multitudes of recorders and microphones for those who claim to be "not musically inclined". I'm certain I can create a 30 minute vocoder solo that will have all of you crying and splitting your sides, even if 27 minutes involved me repeating the phrase "PYT."

I play guitar, bass and drums. But I don't know if I can make it down that way before the fest.
