I suspected this was the case, but wasn't sure whether it was gunther or someone else behind the magic. The giveaway for me was the blinking avatar - that seemed entirely like a setup to annoy HG. Which is why I more or less stayed out of the wonk conversations. It was too much fun to watch.

Part of the fun was messing with the mods. I posted as wonk on a separate computer just so they wouldn't link wonk to know by the IP address. And since the mods have access to the user's email account, I signed up under the address williamwalkerarts@yahoo.com, just so I could convince them "wonk" truly was a nickname for someone named Will.
I could have dragged this out a couple hundred posts until we all met up at Sasquatch, but the posting on two different computers became a burden.
