Ever hear of the Wright Brothers? I really don't think The Wright Brothers (<--Link) will be at Sasquatch. That's out there even for the rampant speculation thread, Know...

I thought this was for rampant speculation? but if you need some justification, they are playing a big thing July 30th in LA. [EDIT - oops, that was last year, make that past tense] and they played some dates in South America in October. and Tom Morello recently said something along the lines of "if we want to do a thing, we'll do a thing." plus it fits in the (albeit new) tradition of Loud Friday.

but if you need some justification, they are playing a big thing July 30th in LA. That was this July 30th aka in 2011, not this upcoming year in 2012. Fucking Primus us playing the Summer Camp festival in Chicago. Memorial Day weekend. Fuck me. Bassnectar played both festivals last year, so it could possibly still happen. Maybe they will play on loud friday? Fuck that would be so awesome.

You are confusing this with The Wish List thread. Unless there is some sort of speculatin' you got for us? and Tom Morello recently said something along the lines of "if we want to do a thing, we'll do a thing." The fifth definition of "thing" in the World English Dictionary states, "an event or act." Sasquatch is an event, therefore this would qualify as rampant speculation. Carry on.

I listened to "Colours", is there another one I should try? I'm all for el garbagio fun radio songs, don't get me wrong. Isn't that the band that remade "Float On" by Modest Mouse?

Simple: Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, The Shins, Phoenix /thread This is some damn fine speculation and I sure hope, for the most part, that it's true. I also hope for Know's prediction of Primus subbing on one of those nights, however Gramma's news just halfway killed it for me. Primus and RHCP... Two great bassists in one night would be a dream come true.

Simple: Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, The Shins, Phoenix /thread I don't think The Shins are a headliner. I guess maybe if their new album is full of epic arena rock jams. they seem more like second-tier to me. maybe third, has anyone seen them with their new lineup?

Cbats' hell is full of the greatest bass players of all time.
Also the Shins are a NW band of equal or greater popularity than DCFC. They sub-headed OSL last year, they definitely could headline a night at Sasquatch

Worst Visualization of Hell: An upside-down library with a boat in it or something (What Dreams May Come)
Best Visualization of Hell: A fiery tornado; George Burns floats by and says: 'Hey fuckface, ya seen Gracie?' (South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut)

Scariest Visualization of Hell: Hellraiser 2
Rampant Speculation: Self is recording a new album (that's not the speculation, Matt Mahaffey just announced it). They will be at Sasquatch and I will be the happiest girl in the world.

DCFC sold out Edgefield rather easily, and that is 5,000 capacity. The Shins barely sold out the Crystal Ballroom (1,500). The Fleet Foxes on the other hand sold out the Crystal Ballroom in a couple hours, and nearly sold out Edgefield. Maybe their new album will spring them to crossover pop success, but if it doesn't, the Shins will easily be the smallest headlining draw Sasquatch has ever had, and they won't be making up for it by putting on an amazing show.

The Shins into the Fleet Foxes, or either into Bon Iver or Mumford & Sons would work. There will be a quiet night on the main stage.
