If Coachella taught me one thing, it's that PBR can truly be easily consumed at any temperature. I don't really know how this happened, but at sasquatch this year we had one cooler between 12 people. Awesome planning. So yeah, ended up drinking warm PBR all weekend and actually wasn't terrible! I mean, the first one in the morning was a struggle, but after that it didn't really bug me at all. I will say that the first beer I bought inside the grounds after three days of drinking warm beer was possibly the best damn thing I have ever drank.

Yeah fuck that drunk dude.
What's funny is that the Pyramid was (arguably) the best iteration of those giant LED-structures. If anyone's going to start the next revolution it's Daft Punk.

First post updated. I re-read this thread, but some of you were a bit cryptic with your plans, and I probably missed a couple posts skimming, but this is what I came up with:
General Info: Most of us are meeting in car camping, and everyone listed below will attend the first weekend of the festival, April 13th-15th. The tentative plan is to all meet at a yet to be determined location (probably the Wal-Mart in Palm Spring) Thursday, April 12th, in the early evening. Therefore, if you want to join in the fun, plan on flying in during the day Thursday, April 12th, so we all have enough time to pick up supplies and meet up. You have three options for airports, Palm Springs (30 minutes to Indio), Ontario (90 minutes to Indio), or Los Angeles (130 minutes + up to 60 minutes traffic to Indio). Once everyone starts buying their plane tickets, I'll include which airport everyone is flying into. Let me know if anything is off or changing either publicly, or via PM. If you wish to not be included in the list below, PM me, and I will remove your name discretely.
Tickets: knowidyuh (+car camping pass) J-Dawg (not camping) drew wompwomp (+car camping pass) Shaxspear Pea Cat/Stamper kymess_jr (+car camping pass) chaco eMpTyFox (not camping)
Cars (those planning on camping with the board): knowidyuh drew wompwomp Cat/Stamper
Shade/Chairs: Drew - Shadehouse (canopy with mesh sides) knowidyuh - willing to purchase canopy/chairs if needed, if someone will bring them home with them (?)mrlahey - canopy
Maybes: weenie z3phyr13 sOuLy mrlahey Gramma/Stormy davers
Any errors, updates, or omissions, post them in this thread or PM me.

I just bought my ticket and car camping pass. I'm still probably going to drive, which means I'll have shade too! I'll also hopefully be driving something larger, so I'll have room for things if people need them!

Souly...so if you drive I assume you would be driving through Calgary? I have a ton of camping shit, I just won't be able to bring it on the plane (I probably won't be able to get enough time off from work to drive...and I don't really want to). If you have the room, I would gladly give you chairs/sleeping bags/tents/shade for the group if need be.

Yeah if I have a bigger car I totally will! We still have like 10 months to work out all the crazy details.

Oh and I plan on picking up camping chairs at the Palm Springs Wal-Mart or the Rite Aid across the street from the polo grounds.

We're going to need a t-shirt for this gathering... if only there was someone around here who was into making t-shirts.
if only.

Pea cannot be trusted with t-shirts at Coachella. He pretty much runs around shirtless the whole weekend. That said I think a Squatchella 2012 invasion shirt is a swell idea.

I've got a few ideas about a giant sasquatch rampaging through the polo grounds, but there are certainly other people on the board I would rather have design such a thing.

Pea cannot be trusted with t-shirts at Coachella when the Chemical Brothers are playing. He pretty much runs around brainless the entire night.
