Apparently more 4-Day passes to the 2011 Sasquatch! Festival have been released and are on sale at fucking Ticketmaster as we speak.
If you need one I suggest not waiting.

Saturday tickets aren't working. But the 4 day pass still is. I wonder how long these tickets will last...
edit: at least one of my friends was able to get a 4 day pass today. Hopefully more will as the day goes on.

Well here's a "surprise," I don't think anyone expected.

It actually doesn't surprise me that stubhub was unable to sell their tickets at incredibly inflated prices, and upon seeing so many private sales happening at or near face value, that they chose to sell them back to ticketmaster for sale at the regular price.
Ugh Ticketmaster... ugh.

We bought 5 four day passes today on the live nation website...could only purchase 1 at a time so had to make 5 transactions but each one was $295 and I printed all 5 receipts:-) We were going to buy from someone on Craigslist for $315 each in Portland which was not bad but I just checked the website just in case and even though it said they were sold out I still was able to buy them. Don't know how many they have available especially since I could only purchase one at a time but they were for sure available today luckily for us:-)

Thanks for the tip! We had a couple people who hadn't managed to pick up tickets. Also, good work sasquatch attendees in general for beating the legalized scalping!

How nice that everyone appreciates it NOW, because I've been taking shit for WEEKS for telling people not to deal with scalpers and just to wait. That Facebook page is full of fucking assholes.

I did not expect them to release more tickets through a legitimate source, but it should be fairly common knowledge not to freak out and buy early from a scalper, just chill and wait it out. Because the fucking parasites that charge twice the price in early March have to unload all of their tickets before the festival or they will take a loss. My friend got his ticket for $10 dollars under face last year by just waiting until the week of the fest from some guy who couldn't go last minute. A few years ago I found out I couldn't make Coachella 2 days before hand , I was basically giving my tickets away so they didn't go to waste.

It actually doesn't surprise me that stubhub was unable to sell their tickets at incredibly inflated prices, and upon seeing so many private sales happening at or near face value, that they chose to sell them back to ticketmaster for sale at the regular price. Ugh Ticketmaster... ugh. I definitely expected something like this would happen...My opinion is that Ticketmaster held a VERY LARGE number of tickets back for their wholly owned secondary ticket market company; TicketsNow. This was done to test the market on how high these tickets would sell for, and also to keep the market for a ticket overvalued. Once they realized these secondary tickets were not going to sell out, they released them at face value. Then fans who didn't get tickets right away are all happy; so TM gets away with it. Not sure if Stub-hub tried to sell tickets back as well...but that is certainly possible. Also HG and Stormy, your (and likely others) vigilance on informing people to avoid the Scalpers likely have had a hand in getting so many tickets back to the consumer at face-value pricing. Kudos to you. I personally have nothing against small time scalpers, and I do believe they have a role in the live entertainment industry. However I am not cool with Ticketmaster monopolizing both sides of the market.

Tried to get one more from Sasquatch website but alas...all gone again. Did have luck on Craigslist in Portland though and got one at cost for a friend we are hoping can go. If not I will have an extra that I will also sell at cost but won't know until the 12th if our friend can go or not.
