I personally dig Justin Vernon because of how many projects he has done. Bon Iver, GAYNGS, Volcano Choir, Kanye West, and perhaps my favorite song of his is a collab he did with St. Vincent for one of the twilight soundtracks called "Roslyn". With both artists being there, I really hope they team up for that song....it's awesome.

nope. I still don't get these guys. can someone explain to me their appeal? I'm kinda glad I'm not the only one. I mean I like him/them and all, but it's nothing life-changing for me. I was at the Colbert Report taping where they played and it was very well done, great musicians, good songwriting, but nothing that makes me want to jump out of my seat. That being said, that'll be a nice chill-out set at the end of one of these nights.

I think he's a talented songwriter with a pretty falsetto. For Emma, Forever Ago is cathartic and simple and emotional, and the new album is solid but doesn't pack the same emotional punch.

Bon Iver is great, but extremely overrated.

I fucking love the Volcano Choir album and For Emma... has some incredible moments. And like I said, their set in '09 is about as good as any I have ever seen at Sasquatch. The new album is fucking unbearably boring, though. I have no doubt that I will love their set this time around, but I definitely think they are a waste of headliner dollars.

Also I am very drunk on Charles Shaw celebrating his 10th anniversary, and I can't help picturing her naked wrapped in a flour tortilla.

nope. I still don't get these guys. can someone explain to me their appeal? That's interesting because I think of them the same way I think of Fleet Foxes and I remember once you jumped all over me for hatin' on the Foxes. I have no interest in Bon Iver. I have tried and tried and tried some more. They just do nothing for me.

Goddamn that Bon Iver video is incredible. Even those of you who never fell in love with them might be surprised how good their show is. While the show I saw in the Fall wasn't as good as their previous Sasquatch show, it was still incredibly powerful

While the show I saw in the Fall wasn't as good as their previous Sasquatch show, it was still incredibly powerful You know what, they put on a solid show because they have some awesome material to work with and the live arrangements are very cool, but it wasn't as life-changing as I was told it would be. It was solid and fun, but I'll take Modest Mouse's performance last year over what I saw every time.

I'd rather see Daft Punk. Have you guys seen Daft Punk? I wonder if they'll tour next year. Daft Punk, that is.
