I totally missed that, and I must state again, y'all are putting me way too high. I haven't watched a baseball game in about 3 or 4 years.

i am the eeeee-radicator! only the person who defeats me can remove my mask to know my true identity. Shouldn't it be the 3333-radicator? A+!

Shouldn't it be the 3333-radicator? A+! you have to keep it within context, Cat, grades don't work here. This is baseball! ya gotta switch it up to appropriate syntax. only batting averages or ERAs in this thread. try .400 or 0.44

WHAT UP
Okay so I'm pretty drunk but lemme say a few things
1.) I'm stoked that we're doing this
2.) Some of you playing the league now have my last name. Please show me the respect of not posting it on this board and I'll show you the respect of not punching you in the genitals
3.) I Have no idea how people use browsers that don't spell check everything you type
4.) Duh Pujols is going first
5.) Don't place me so high. During my last fantasy football season I was undefeated for like 3 or 4 weeks. Then some dude who wasn't even changing his lineup each week beat me, even though I was carefully paying attention and setting my roster, because the fucking NY Giants had a beastly week on defense, and I lost the game and I kinda melted down and traded away my entire team... proud moment. Adrian Peterson was good for someone else for a while though
6.) I'mma go get a burrito, I'm stoked on the draft tomorrow

Any Stamper notes on this thread? Sports make me lost, so trying to read a thread full of fantasy baseball will just confused me. Any not-fantasy-baseball stuff worth noting?

Actually no, a very on topic thread. In fact, the entire first five pages of this thread were moved en masse from the baseball thread.

Also, they're no longer stamper notes, they're 3333-radicator notes.

I have been trying to navigate this fantasy baseball interface and I am lost. I am a little worried about the draft. Who the hell is Pujos? What happened to Nolan Ryan? Am I that old? Oh man.

Hey guys--- sign Jamie Moyer and Oliver Perez with your first pick! I know a guy who's cousins with the trainer of both pitchers. He tells me they're both gonna have huge seasons this year.

Duh Pujols is going first Fuck Pujols anyway. It's gonna be either Votto's or Howard's year. Go with one of them Switch.

all joking aside....
we still have 1 spot left in the league, if anyone wants it. If nobody else steps up to the plate before tonight's draft time, Cat has volunteered to be a place filler.
Thus, if you're still interested in playing, please let J Walter Weatherman or myself know TODAY. Our draft will begin 6:30 PM (PST).

I have a serious question, and I know that you might not want to reveal strategies since this is a competition, but would I be wise to assume that picking a great pitcher first is a good idea since 5/10 of the categories are based on pitching? There are a lot of great hitters out there so you would think it would be easy to pick up a decent hitter deeper in the draft, but the decent pitchers might be gone.

Pitchers only play once every 5/6 days. Hitters play every day.
For the most part, there are a few "elite" pitchers that are definitely worth grabbing pretty early. After that, the majority of all pitchers are pretty interchangeable.

Thanks. I have been reading up on this all morning and I think I am understanding the strategy a little bit now. I am actually pretty excited about this because I used to love baseball but haven't watched it in a few years for some reason. I am ready for a summer full of BBQ's and baseball.
