NOOOOOOOOO!
I have always dreamed of a Stanley Cup Final where they only have to sing the Canadian anthem...

Hahah, I can respect that, but Boston has been my team in the East since I could walk...

And Chara has been a big, dumb, goofy fuck since he could walk.

I reject your reality, and substitute my own.

The Habs gave a good fight, but Boston fought harder. Let's go Flyers! If they do well in the next round I'll likely have my playoff pool locked down.

Haha, I need the direct opposite to happen for my pool.

I was lucky enough to have the night off and was able to watch the entire game, including the OT winner by Burrows and the ensuing celebration!
I was unable to watch the game last night, but I hear we dominated far beyond what the score reflected. Rinne is the only thing between us and the conference final.

That is correct, dear hat of the wolf. We were all over them.

The new night driller didn't show up on the plane this morning, so I get the night off! Here's hoping they don't sort things out by tomorrow night so I can watch game 2.

Yes. I get paid either way so I don't give a shit about their hole. I'm glad that last sentence was in context.

I wish you the best of luck. I plan to watch the game from the alibi room tomorrow night, with Pea and 4 other Seattlites in tow.

I'm glad you're finally showing Pea the majesty of the Alibi Room. I do hate that since the Olympics just about every restaurant/bar in town has TVs, but on the other hand it does mean that you get to enjoy the city's best tap house AND the Canucks game tomorrow! Enjoy! I'll raise a glass (of apple juice, probably) to y'all if I'm able to watch.

I'm also going to check out St. Augustines for the first time tonight... but perhaps this post is better suited to the Craft Beer Thread.
Fuck it! It's my thread, and I'll hijack it if I want to! (you'd hijack too if it belonged to you)

Fuckkkkkkk. One minutes to go, Luongo's playing so good, and a fucking shot from behind the net goes in.

Disapointing end. They played like crap in the third but then in the OT they really turned it on again and I thought they deserved to win. Peca stood on his head.
Also, St Augistines is awesome, I used to live 6 blocks from that place and went there pretty much every week.

The game last night was entirely too close. I was able to sneak away and watch the last half of the third period plus OT and we seemed to be dominating, but that Pekka Rinne is one savage mother! Also, way to go Kesler line!
