I was nervous all day, and I'm not a fun person to be around when I'm nervous.
Just watching TSN.... oh Hai there Nate Horton, you takin pregame skate? I thoughtz you waz soo hurt?
We will win tonight.
EDIT: I love Canada to death. But I'm really dissapointed in the media ( and to a lesser extent the fans) in Toronto, Calgary, Montreal etc. saying that the Canucks are the least deserving team in history. Fuck you, you jealous fucks.

I hope the Canucks lose tonight. That will make Calgary (2004), Edmonton (2006), and Vancouver (2011) who have all lost in game 7 of the final. Misery loves company, especially when that company comes from your divisional rivals.

Come on now Alex, I cheered for Edmondon, and half heartedly for Calgary (they beat us in round 1, so its hard to root for them in that situation). It would be nice for the cup to come back to Canada for once.
OK, I must go watch, see you all after we win the cup.

I hate the argument about the "cup coming back to Canada". There are more Canadians on the Bruins.
I'm with Alex, there is no way I am cheering for the Canucks tonight.

I'm just rooting for Vancouver because it will be WAY more fun if they win. I'll get to see news of people freaking out for weeks. I love that shit.

not a fucking chance I'm cheering for the Canucks. I've hated them with a fiery passion ever since Markus Naslund (fuck that guy) scored 4 goals against the Oilers in 1 game. Come to think of it I even cheered for the Rangers in '94 because Mike Richter was the man.
The Canadian cameraderie (sp?) thing is stupid to me. I cheer for Canada when they're playing against International opponents, and that's where it ends.

I also really like home games. If game 7 was in Boston, I'd probably go for Boston. I don't really care about any team other than my Oilers. I just like watching good hockey and crazy fans at this point.

Also, I can't ever get enough of an arena filled with people singing the Canadian anthem. Gets me every god damned time.

Driving home from work, the count was: Canucks Jerseys: 12 Bruins Jerseys: 15
Surprising for me, but I suppose...

I would never consider cheering for Boston as cheering for America. You Canadians are so god damn weird sometimes...

As a goalie for 15 years of my life, I have to take my hat off to Thomas. Because lets be fucking honest. without him, they wouldn't have won this series. I'm sad to see that ugly ogre Chara win the cup, but at the same time, I love that my own hometown boy Mark Recchi Wins his last ever Stanley Cup, born and raised in Kamloops, British Columbia , Canada.

Very classy of the fans to keep chanting for their team.

I just got back from a packed bar that was about 80% on the Bruins side. "Canada's team"? Not so much.
Like you guys said, I give them total props for cheering Timmy Tom, that was classy as fuck. I just hope they don't burn down their city like they did in 94. Vancouver is real pretty.
I'm sure it really sucks for all the Canucks fans on this board, but as Alex and I can say "we've been there". Fuck, I remember back in 04 when the Flames lost, I was devastated. I don't wish that on anyone. Sucks guys, it'll get better.
EDIT: holy shit, anyone else see the interview with Ference just now? Started talking about Iggy and Regehr and all the flames he wished he could have won it with in 04. Holy shit I love that man.
EDIT 2: Yup, Vancouver is already on fire. Fuck sakes.

That was a pretty classless act on the part of the Canucks fans. Championships should be celebrated regardless of the circumstances. That was the biggest moment in the career of every player on the Bruins, so I don't understand why that is being missed. I've watched four of the last five deciding Stanley Cup games, just because I love the victory celebration, even if it's a team I'm not rooting for. I can almost understand the knee jerk reaction of booing, and throwing things on the ice, because its sucks losing. But that game was over before the third period started, so every fan in attendance had ample time to prepare for a loss. I saw exactly two people wearing Canucks jerseys clapping when the game ended.
Yes. it was nice when the Canucks pumped up the crowd, but outside of that, it was a shameful display.

I'm pretty sure the booing was directed at Bettman. They cheered as soon as he was out of the picture. Although there was still a couple things thrown when the players were skating with the cup.
