Hey no problem Fig, but I WAS DEAD SERIOUS.
I loved Luongo's game tonight, I always stand behind him, but it was nice to see all these Canucks bandwagon jumpers silenced, the same ones that said he was a siv and they should trade him; seriously fuck those losers.

It really is annoying to have to continue defending the guy, CONSTANTLY. This city will never be happy with any goaltender. Having one who finished the season in the top 3 in all categories (Save %, GAA, Wins) isn't enough for people and it makes me sick.
They'll complain about him taking six games to win the cup too, as if the rest of the team had no effect on their success or failure.
"Should have swept every series! 16-0 or GTFO!"
*edit* Scratch that, when we win the praise will go to everyone but Luongo, and if we lose it will be his fault entirely. What a thankless job.

I seriously think it falls more on the announcers and media. I know some people make their own decisions, but it seems like in general, people love Luongo when the media loves him ( like after game 2 when they were all saying Conn Smyth trophy) and hate him when they say he's playing bad. I willing to bet that over half of these so called Canucks fans these days don't even understand hockey enough to determine whether or not a player is playing below average or not. I know enough Canuck fan fakers to know this as a truth. These people that hate hockey, until a team in their region is about to win a championship; again, fucking losers.

Fuck my face with a train. Why do they always do this to me. Do they want me to cry me little eyes out in front of my fucking friends like I did in 1994. Fuck.

I kinda want you to, but more like a tears of joy thing. My new years resolution was to stop being a fucking pessimist, so keeping that in mind I will say that there is not a single fucking doubt in my mind that they will win on Wednesday. I doubt it will be pretty, but I know they will do it. And this time, I will be crying tears of joy.

On a brighter note, I took a 2 point lead in my hockey pool tonight. Barring a 3 point performance by Henrik with no points from Daniel on Wednesday, I've got this thing locked down.

Considering absolutely nothing goes right in Boston (reffing, bounces, anything) and it all seems pretty close in Vancouver it should be a really interesting game.
I still cant believe some of these calls. The boarding call that lead to the third goal? Are you fucking kidding me? He was already on the boards, how is that boarding? Not to mention the goalie interference on Kes in game 5 where he literally never even touched Thomas. Regardless, its one more game, the home team has won every game this series, I like our chances.

Oh is there a hockey game on tonight? Eh, I'm probably just gonna PVR it. Gotta watch Modern Family reruns. Not like there will be any riots in the streets to tip me off right?
