What is Dubya doing in your avatar? Eating a cat?

He eats kittens... and children I hear. Also it made me giggle so I had to use it.

I certainly enjoy him NOT being the president.

dubya is so much cooler as not the president. This video still remains one of my favorites. You gotta admit--he was pretty entertaining AS our president

You know watching that video kind of scares me. This man was actually president of a world power. And we wonder why we have problems.

I don't want to have anything with that guy unless it is me delivering a kick in the bozack.

I also got day drunk during Phish two summers ago. I had to take a nap, and missed the first song of their set, which happened to be my favorite Phish song of all time. Was that Down with Disease or The Mango Song? I was there on Saturday. Phish concerts are the best! So much energy, dancing, and fun! It was the Mango Song. I was listening to it as I was entering the venue. I don't follow Phish setlists, but several people at the campground told me they never play the Mango Song live, so it was a surprise for many.

Sasquatch sure seems to love booking the has-been's and never-will-be's. Like Guided by Voices and Archers of Loaf and J Mascis?

Sasquatch sure seems to love booking the has-been's and never-will-be's. I'm fully aware this statement will get me in trouble. I pass all blame onto my current state of inebriation.

How are they not talented musicians? Well, their music isn't particularly complicated, and every time I've seen them they don't do anything very technically challenging with their instruments. They're good musicians and great performers, whereas other bands are the reverse. As you know I love them, but Dave 1 will not find himself on the Top 10 Guitarists of All Time list ever.

That's like saying Jack White isn't a good guitarist because the White Stripes make simple music...
Both Dave and P are multi-instrumentalists as well as DJ's, and Dave has an amazing and well-trained voice. They're fully aware of the type of music they make, but that doesn't discredit their skills and talents as musicians.

That's a fair point. I've only ever seen the same caliber stuff from either of them though. I'd love to be proven wrong.
Anyway, I don't like being on the side of the argument that is doing Chromeo down. I think we're operating under different definitions of the word "talented" too.
