I don't remember who I skipped Jane's Addiction for, but I did it. Missed some of NIN that year too. Seen 'em like 8 times and wanted to watch deadmau5 I think.

Of Montreal closed the back stage the NINJA night. I missed the beginning of NIN as well for someone.
And while I agree that NIN at the Gorge is pretty amazing, the two Lights in the Sky shows I saw were much much better. The first one was outdoors while the sun was going down, so the light show wasn't as amazing as it could of been. The second I saw indoors, and is one of the top five shows I've ever seen.

The mau5 wasn't anything spectacular that year IMO.

It was my first time seeing him. I was drunk. It was awesome. The next 4 times were better though.

I was in the outer limits of the dance tent and just wasn't able to get into it fully.

Ha, I spent most of his set sneaking onto the VIP stage and being kicked off of it repeatedly. Eventually the security guy just gave up.

That year it was TVOTR --> NIN --> JA. And yeah, definitely one of the best Squatch nights ever. NIN was awesome, but I was glad they went on first because Jane's Addiction really flipped my shit. I was never even much of a Jane's Addiction fan, and I grew up listening to NIN, but Jane's Addiction definitely was the highlight.
Mr. Bus Face, your snide comments mean literally nothing to me because you are still a bus with a bus avatar that only posts about buses. You're a total melvin. Feel free to keep making bus posts as long as they are in your bus thread, but definitely give up on trying to get into it with me. I may have waaaay too much free time on my hands, but I will never be bored enough to argue with a bus.

Ha, that reminds me... I'm sexually gonna watch the new Celeb Apprentice because the busey is on. Television gold.

but I will never be bored enough to argue with a bus. Maybe you should just get bored enough to get a job or at least some way that you can contribute to society. The guy who got bullied growing up becoming a bully hiding behind a computer has become the cliche of this generation. You are right about the futility of an argument, you have way to much time to write novels on here about how pathetic you think it is to not contribute to every single thread, myself and others like me are too busy leading successful lives to keep up with your post count (which you should hide rather than show off because it just proves how pathetic you really are). I didn't want to start any arguments but you insist on being an unprovoked asshole over and over. Try doing what normal boarders on forums do and skip over a thread that you don't have anything to contribute to. This thread was started as a friendly offer of a safe fun ride to Sasquatch for people that might be in my area and I'd love to re-establish it thusly. Most of the folks on here seem knowledgeable and like they would be fun to be around so posting the offer here seemed like a good fit. The time I (don't) spend putting my $.02 on every thread is just my way of trying to show the rest of this board that I respect them enough not to waste their time (present post excluded, sorry) if I don't have anything to add. Mark Twain had it right in this matter so just like the signature, take these words to heart: "It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt"
