I don't care what anyone says, I think this sounds like a fucking good time. As long as:
A) you have a driver who has proper bus driving classifications/experience. B) Said driver promises to be sober C) Hide the fucking keys once you reach the campground. Because we all know someone will have the bright idea to take er for a rip in the midst of 10,000 tents whilst in a hallucinogenic state. D) If you pick up 40 people and bring em' down, make sure you bring that same number home, and have some way of making sure you do so. Leaving people behind would suck, but is an absolute reality. E) Have an awesome time!

Success! I think I'm catching on now! Anywho the bus is also a little bigger than it looks because I'm 6'6" and 300lbs (I'm really sorry if any of you have ever been behind me at sasquatch! I've read how yall feel about those 6'10" guys and I promise i'm shorter and fatter than them)
Awesome, I'm glad you have all that looked after. You'd be surprised how many people would say, "Oh yeah! Driving a bus with 40 lives on board! How hard could it be?!".
I wish I lived on the way so you could pick me up. The bus looks awesome. Have fun.
Totally wish you were coming down through Boise man, would definitely take you up on this! Enjoy the trip, if I spot the bus in the campground, I'll come dance on the roof with ya.
Wow, I'm impressed. Honestly, I was expecting sort of a shady operation based on the op, but this looks pretty legit. Well done. I really might know some people interested in jumping on board.

we brought my friend's bus last year from north of Seattle and it turned out to be alot of fun so I decided to buy one to bring from this direction. We figured out that the more upper deck space the better (it was kinda crowded inside because everyone had to have all thier crap for the weekend in there) so I built mine the whole length. enough jabbering on tho here's a pic of last year (let me know if you saw us)

fig-we will make sure you can find our buses this year with the 50' flag pole and maybe a luxor style light from my bus (so everyone can find thier way home @ night) drew- I really appreciate that! and my buddy and I are working on making a website for the bus where people can get some info about the trip along with a trip to burningman

we will probly be three buses worth this year, I hope you guys enjoyed being close! we tried to warn everyone as they pulled in (i got there really early and parked way out where cars hadn't gotten near yet) so people would know it would be noisy. this year I think we will shoot for another early arrival and setting up a few rows from the outermost ring of camping (see pic) and cranking up all three systems way before people get there so noone gets there and is surprised when it is loud late. We are hoping for two rows in at about 11o'clock in general camping

Well congrats all the same, Drew. You've come a long way.
I had no idea the campground was one big circle either, until I looked it up on Google Earth a few years ago. It made sense after I thought about it, but I'm a city boy and never considered the irrigation beforehand. This might be obvious to some, but even though that picture says "Amphitheater" on the left (west) side of the map, the walking path to get there is out the bottom (south) side of camping near where you drive in when you first arrive (where it says "entrance.")

now that whole "the pivot" meeting place with all the over priced food and warm showers makes more sense! the irrigation pivots from there! Side note. I had to lift the huge sprinkler thing as we drove our bus under it last year because it was lower than some of the camping junk on the upper deck on our way out of the camp monday night last year. Hopefully my upper deck can guide it up an inch or two on its own if necissary when I pull out tuesday am.
