This year's lineup seems to be disregarding the exclusivity clause completely lol. thus making it even harder to speculate on future line ups. goody

Well it's not within 2 months but I'm sure you know Bassnectar played last weekend. And Decemberists are playing next month and Tokyo Police Club is playing in April.

They're probably more heavily enforcing it for bands that Zacks thinks are big and would cause the festival to sell less. That, or we'll see a flurry of other northwest dates for bands once this sucker sells out (end of feb wouldn't surprise me a bit).

At my first Sasquatch in '08 my friend and I had no idea who the Flaming Lips were (terrible, I know) and thought they sounded interesting, so we decided to stick around to watch. They're now my favorite band ever and I saw them again at Marymoor Park in '09 and last year at the Paramount. What ever else is on the lineup when the Lips are on stage is not worth your time. Go see them, you'll be forever changed.

The only thing I knew about them before seeing them at Sasquatch '06 was "She don't use jelly".
OH.MY.GOD. If you do anything with the rest of your life, go watch this show. OK, I think we've hyped it to death now. LOL

This will be my first time seeing the Lips. I'm bummed that there looks like there will probably be a conflict with Yeasayer, because I haven't seen them either, but man, given the choice between FL/MM and Yeasayer, that's really not a choice at all.

As I dig further into the lineup, it keeps getting better for me. Can't believe today was the first time I've listened to Death From Above 1979. Totally stoked to see them rock the stage before Foo Fighters. Should make for a great intro into the Foo Fighters killer set! Have you guys seen them, do they put on a good live show?
Also, whats the over/under on Foo Fighters covering a Zeppelin tune?

Are we still talking about that? I guess a lasting impression is better than no impression.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who said he saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night.
I guess it's pretty serious.

Soo, how about those questions regarding Death From Above? Anyone, aanyone? Bueller? Saw them twice in Vancouver before they broke up. Really high energy show that sounded great for 2 guys. A must see if you like their recorded music at all. (though it will be interesting to see what they are like now after a few years off when they supposedly really didn't like each other)
