Hopscotch. They use the FUBU approach. Kinda like ATP in the whole artists hanging out too. I moshed at a Fucked Up show with Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning at said festival. Fucked Up is my jam. Was this the "Chemistry of Common Life" tour?

I don't think they were even really touring behind anything. This was just last September. Damn great show.

Before attempting to be , I8, how about reading the titles? You linked a poll for overall favorite fests. Mine polls OTHER NON-Sasquatch fests. Nice try. Are you out of your god damn mind? This is the most egregious case of "distinction without a difference" since the FCC held that Martin Scorsese's The Blues was actionably indecent while exempting Saving Private Ryan from the ban. Both threads are stupid chances to say "HURR I LIKE BONNAROO" without offering any sort of interesting discussion. It's just a poll for its own sake. Look, I know that we're all getting antsy because the lineup is only a few days away. We feel like we should have things to say, but since there's, like, one piece of "news" per day, and it usually comes from Pitchfork (so we all see it) or a new poster's uncle's boss (so we all discredit it immediately), there's just not that much to say. But we should try to avoid giving into the "Fill this board with unnecessary threads and polls" impulse that is apparently taking us all by storm. I mean, ask yourself: what is this poll about? So far, the only good thing that has come out of this thread is Peatrick's alexisonfire joke. I8—you have been nauseatingly confrontational to my posts and to others. I get it if that’s your “shtick” but it gets old after a while. Since the thread has kind of moved on from the topic, I apologize for being mildly long-winded and starting it back up again, but I know for a fact that I'm not "out of my god damn mind". For the record, last year was my first time going to a festival. I’ve never been to Bonnaroo. Quite frankly, I’m not really interested in that one as much as I am in other festivals. I’ve heard great reviews and I’ve heard lukewarm reviews about it. I went to Sasquatch and Lolla last year and had a phenomenal time. Provided my pocketbook and time will allow, Iwant to go to as many festivals as I can. I’ve even been flirting with the idea of saving up to go to Oxygen, Glastonbury, or even staying domestic at Coachella, etc. The more festivals, the better, yeah? I did not design this poll to exploit the “HURR I LIKE BONNAROO” responses. Because I am a new fester and a new poster, I wanted to learn about different festivals and get people’s opinions. I want to be involved in the boards, so I decided to get active and start a mildly relevant topic—unlike an anime thread or favorite book thread. (No offense.) But even those topics have their place—in—wait for it—the unrelated section. There are only so many different ways someone can explain why Foo Fighters are a good headliner or bad headliner, so that is why unrelated topics exist. Yes, we’re excited about the line-up announcement, so we’re all pretty active on here. But what’s wrong with going slightly off-topic to develop camaraderie with boarders we have something in common with? It is because of off-topics and “unnecessary” threads that people are getting tips about camping or planning road trips together or planning to meet up at the fest. So, if those topics bother you, such as this one, why bother participating?

I8 tends to be the guy who walks into a strip club just to tell everyone how disgusted he is in it, rather than just not going in at all and easily avoiding any negative situation.

It's actually more like I8 is the kinda guy who walks into a family diner only to find out people are treating it like a strip club and appropriately responds with disgusts. Family Diner = Rumors thread Strip Club = Arcade Fire dribble all over the Rumor's thread Also strip clubs are the worst!

The best part about mine is imagining Mr. Cool Ice walk into a family diner. (It actually gets better if you imagine Mr. Cool Ice's family aswell.)

Haha ya I8 definitely took a back seat to HG when he first started stampeding through the boards. I8 seems to be making a comeback though. I should get some popcorn ready.
