Does anyone in the Seattle area play? If so, does anyone play white river in auburn? If not, you really should. It is a kick ass course. Mmmmm..... Disc golf. The only sport where its almost unacceptable to be sober.

I play disc golf on the Playstation Move and played it in real life one time in New Mexico. It is so much fun! www.icebowlhq.com/Check that page out!

We gots this crazy disc gold course in my hometown where international championships happen a lot. However, I've only played a few times and I live in South Carolina.

Disc golf is awesome. I have only played it twice, but both times I had a ton of fun. I really need to get a set of discs.

Yes! It is pretty much the most relaxing thing... Well, it can be. If anyone wants to come check out the course in auburn, I would be most willing to play with them. It is a blast.

Not a beer drinker, but did you know? You can fit almost a whole fifth into these metal waterbottles that are so popular these days. Bring a coke, some whiskey, rinse and repeat. It can lead to lost discs though... On what i believe was my third time, I smoked a bunch, took some k-pin, chugged a tall boy, and promptly lost 4 discs over the course of 36 holes... Haven't made that mistake again. Plastics just too damn expensive.

Disc golf is the shit. We have a ton of nice courses in the Portland area. They are building a new disc course in Portland as well, a pro level course. I hear the casual thrower will lose all of their discs and never go back. It will be in the NE somewhere, near the river, so there will be lots of wind.

There is a course at Crystal Mountain that is only open in the winter. I haven't been because I have but three discs, and I'm pretty sure none of them would make it out alive. It would be awesome if someone had a practice basket to bring to the Festie for the board meet-up. Putts for joints!

I realize my earlier comment brought zero to this thread, since there aren't any disc golf pros on this board who live in Portland, so let me start over.
I like disc golf. Played it in four different states even.

It's a sport, which means it has the right criteria for me to enjoy it. Lots of good players (not me) here in Vancouver, and I am walking distance from QE park, which has a small but fun course.
If you ever get to any of the Gulf Islands between Van Isle and the mainland, bring your discs along. Salt Spring and Pender Island have great courses.
I went to Pender Island for a bachelor party one weekend; specifically to play disc golf. It's a pretty gnarly course, so given how high and drunk we were, it was actually a rather dangerous yet entertaining excursion.

Yeah but 90% of squatchcreep's posts are trolling and spam. You're still winning.

Yesterday was apparently the worst day to disc golf, as my buddy lost his main disc on the 3rd hole, and then I lost mine on the fifth hole. It was a day of playing disc find, not disc golf. Terrible.
