Ok, ok, ok, you caught me red-handed. I guess my real question is, why do people complain about feeling shitty from eating too much when they did it on purpose? Looking forward to your answer on this one, too.

To answer all of your stupid commie questions, it's because this is the most powerful and badass nation on the face of the god damn Earth and we can do whatever the fuck we want because of it. If we want to spend a day eating more food than we normally do then we'll god damn do it because we're not an impoverished third world country. WE'RE FUCKING AMERICA. AND WE'RE HUNGRY. NOW YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP AND START BEING THANKFUL FOR LIVING WHERE YOU DO, HIPPIE. American Thanksgivings sound aggressively awesome! I am thankful for the laughs you have provided me I8! Enjoy the long weekend er'body in America.

Dialogue between my brother and me last night:
Him: so are you going to eat until you have the beetus? Me: Damn right, I'm American.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Hahahahahaha fuck me. Thanks for that larf. Hey no prob, thanks for educating me to the fact that Thanksgiving in America is nothing more than a big Da Rude concert with the Fam! "My grandma's rolls are the best. They stay airy and perfect for hours"

Turkey, stuffing, taters, gravy, sweet potatoes, corn, broccoli, green bean salad (I made), rolls, crudites (celery, carrots, homemade pickles, pickled asparagus, olives), various dips and nuts, cranberry jelly and relish all on the spread. And homemade pie after. Pumpkin, cherry, mincemeat, and berry (cascade and young berries, my favorite pie in the world).
I am beyond grateful for the bounty and my loving family, crazy as they may be. And you fuckers. Thanks, fuckers.

I had American thanksgiving here in Edinburgh last night- first time I've got to cook in 2 months and did it up bit- made the turkey, mashed potatoes, and roast veggies- both of my american friends brought your crazy sweet potato with marshmallow dish you people love for whatever reason.
it was *good*, especially because I missed proper thanksgiving.

It is gross. I like my sweet potatoes just like my normal potatoes. They are already sweet enough for me.

I feel strongly that certain foods should never be combined with sweets. While eggs tops this list, potatoes are a comfortable second ahead of beans.
