Was just thinking about the potential of Sasquatch! Music Festival being cancelled. Would it be gone forever? Would it come back in a year, a few years, 10 years? Who knows?
I think if that is the case the Sasquatch! Music Festival Proboards should still live on. It would kind of be fitting. The everlasting search for the mythical being that is Sasquatch. A message board dedicated to a music festival named after said beast that doesn't exist any more with people still posting. Seems appropriate. The people that wont give up on finding that mythical music festival.
I'm getting ahead of myself, clearly. But...

Yea if it happens I'll look into restructuring the board a bit, but the drop-off in usage since the lineup came out has already been pretty ominous. It might just be a few of us chiming in every other week with a new ongoing favorite album haha.

Post-Squatch Music Enthusiast Support Group & Forums Can it just be a general music festival discussion forum? I was working on a list of all the festivals I went to the last few years... I'll post it somewhere and people can try to decide where else they would like to go if Sasquatch is cancelled.

I'll post it somewhere and people can try to decide where else they would like to go if Sasquatch is cancelled. I would love to see a list of all the music festivals in this part of the world. Started my own list of ones I've attended here sasquatchfest.proboards.com/thread/2636/retirement-planningPemberton sounds like it would be good music wise but not everything else wise. Have also been thinking of trying Bumbershoot. My favorite (including Sasquatch) has to be Outside Lands. The headliners are always right in my groove station, and the locale and hippy vibe makes for a dare I say, Sasquatch like experience. Think urban Sasquatch with fog rolling in the late afternoon, covering everything in a wispy ambiance whilst Stevie Wonder plays for a crowd of booty shakers.

Bumbershoot can be a BLAST if the lineup is even remotely good. Lots of good shows there over the years, Franz Ferdinand, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metric, The Replacements, Kishi Bashi, Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Sean Paul...

I just puked what I already wrote into this thread. sasquatchfest.proboards.com/thread/2651/battle-festivalsI am almost finished my 2016 one but work is dumb today so it will have to wait until after the weekend. I noticed I did pros and cons for 2014 which actually seems like a better idea than what I did for 2015. If the mods want to mush our two threads together somehow go for it.

The new season is fucking terrible. I'm hoping final two episodes make up for the piles that were the first four.
