Some dude flipped me off at like 5:30. What an early bird.

Forgive me - I'm new (gulp) and I couldn't find a thread that would be appropriate for this question. For some reason, the camping/lodging category only seems to contain (recent) threads on camping. Do any of you have favorite places to stay, as in hotels - not camping? I know, it's part of the experience, but I've been quite a few times now and trying to decide whether it's better to stay at a hotel in Moses Lake or to look at one of the towns west of the gorge instead.

I think there's a hotel or B+B type deal at the winery down the road. I think its called Cave B winery or something along those lines. Probably pretty expensive though.

I wonder if Mase is going this year--he has the mobile hotel of love.

Yeah pretty expensive. Also perpetually unavailable for the festival weekend unless you buy one of those crazy expensive yurt/ticket packages. I realize everyone loves the camping, but I'm too much of a coward. And I'm also old.

Listen to Drew then; Wildhorse. It's camping but for pregnant women. If pregnant women can do it, you should be fine. From what I gather it's much more laid back than general camping and they have food you can buy that is really good. Unless you have some fear of tents you will probably be fine there.

I am counting on drew to bring me one of these infamous Wildhorse burgers this year. Their reputation is basically the one thing that has ever made me want to camp there.

I'll get you a wild burger, dude. They're properly enjoyed at 1am, fresh off the grill, but we'll see what we can work out.

I might be sold on Wildhorse with this talk of burgers - as long as you promise the average age is not 19. I am turning 30 and I'm getting sensitive about feeling like the oldest person in the room.

I'm really sick of people saying that they're turning thirty and feel old! Wait, are you my friend Jill? Dammit Jill we're not old!

With age comes experience and wisdom, and with that comes the knowledge of how to make EVERYTHING in life better.

There is definitely a shift in what has long been considered normal stages in life. I'm 26 and I absolutely still feel like a little kid. It's fucking awesome.
