You guys are awesomely hilarious! Sound like a super tight-knit community. Well, I am old, watched Kotter... major Travolta fan... back then! Honestly, I'm a bit afraid of y'all - I'm obsessed with pretty much all music, but not musically informed on names and lesser know music, as it seems you guys are! Basically saw a ton of the "small print acts" on my Pandora list and my husband surprised me with tix for Valentines. Been wanting to go since the beginning, but I didn't think the kids were the right age... yes kids! I'm mostly fearing your wrath over bringing my kids - 11 and 12 - but if you met them you'd change your mind... freakin cool as hell, love really good music... and extremely "worldly" if you know what I'm saying. haha (as in, "kids, move away from the puffs of smoke from the person sitting next to you, don't sing the bad words when you're singing along, and cover your eyes if something truly "adult" is going on") haha they've had a lot of experience with festival freaks and I swear like a sailor... no worse than a sailor. My 12yr old has a bleeding disorder with complications, so your damn right if I am going to expose him to as much life experience, music, and different types of people while we can - So... anyway, give us a chance, every single one of our childless friends say they're the coolest kids they've ever met... seriously they sing along to such random music like Zhu, Ghost Loft, Chet Faker, the Neighbourhood, yellow claw - hell my son's favorite 2 albums are BB King's first album and the soundtrack to Rock n Roll High School on my original vinyl (see, I'm 40 - old as hell) - they's one of a kind, play drums double bass accordion, etc - and they never bug the crap outta me with crap music But don't hate them for loving Lazer and Lorde ........ so there's my short novel on me - and wanting you guys to accept me and my kids hahaha p.s. I can't say I'm happy about it - but I will be absolutely shocked if Macklemore isn't added on as a headliner for Friday! My two cents... Sounds like great kids. Mine are 16 and 13. Not bringing them mostly because although they're fairly "worldly" as well, that's when we get to act closer to their age than our own and pretty sure we would embarrass them more than anything. Sure you will love Sasquatch.

Sure you will love Sasquatch. A good parent (this Dad at least) never misses an opportunity to embarrass the kiddos. Music fest wise, I took my then 16 year old son and his girl friend to Coachella in 2011, and my retro hippie look, with longish hair, tie dye and beads, made him avoid me most of the weekend. They were true northwesterner's though, because the heat was too much for them during the day and daddy mutt was more heat tolerant and enjoyed roasting in the sun, although they outlasted me at night cuz my body clock these days has a shut down time of about 9 pm. I turn into a grouchy old man after that.

Sounds about right! I figure it's the last year they'll be too freaked out to venture out on their own and get into trouble haha! Right now, my daughter has me totally into Grimes and she's beyond stoked to see her. Better than one direction or some crap like that...

Welcome!
Sasquatch probably won't ever book Phish, but luckily Phish will play their own shows at the Gorge and they will be awesome.
