I was the guy looking quite stylish in the sharp-as-fuck Ringo Starr suit.

Interrupting Doug Martsch should be a crime.
In a similar vein, I saw James Blake a few months ago and half of the shitbags there were talking so loud during every fucking song. He makes to most delicate, beautiful music and the crowd absolutely fucking ruined every single song. I will never forget the girl in front of me who was informing her friend of the difference between stage left and the audience left in the middle of a slow, quiet, beautiful solo by James, and it killed ma little bit inside. It was so disrespectful and it made me ashamed to be a part of the crowd.

I had pretty much the same experience on Blake's first tour. The worst.

It was so disrespectful and it made me ashamed to be a part of the crowd. This happened the first time I saw him at the Wonder Ballroom. This girl was running her mouth about how she didn't take the morning after pill on time and she hopes she isn't pregnant because the guy is unemployed, has a criminal record but has a abnormally large dick so she continues to hook up w him. I've never thought of striking a woman until that night.

How long did you think about striking her? How close did you get to striking the woman? Did the woman understand that you were considering striking her? Had you struck the woman, how would you have done it? Would you have struck the woman on the cheek? Would your strike have been a back-handed blow? Would your strike against the woman have been a palm strike? Your joke requires context.

If thinking about doing things was against the rules I'm pretty sure we'd all be banned by now.

Your joke requires context. Actually, a joke, if indeed a joke was intended, requires a set up and a punch line. Let's try this: "a loud mouth valley girl and a crook with an abnormally large ________ walk into a bar. The bartender looks at the girl and says (insert punch line here)."

R.I.P. bambam 8 posts We hardly knew ye, and barely wanted to. Whoa whoa whoa, I'm not going anywhere. I've just been busy with work so I haven't posted lately. Upper management says we need to spend more time being productive and not on various message boards...nazi's.

You'd be wrong about 'not going anywhere' after sitting there and calling us nazis even if you weren't obviously guilty of using an unnecessary apostrophe. Does your boss know that you haven't mastered basic punctuation? Probably, I guess, I mean he probably looked at your resume.

I do believe he was referring to his bosses as Nazis, errant apostrophe aside. Unless he meant that the "various message boards" in fact belonged to Nazis. In that case, I couldn't blame them for cracking down a bit at work.

Name: Alex What my user name represents/means: My name. I thought about going with a different username to fly under the radar, but that sounds like a lot of work. I'm back (if you'll have me) because as of last night my wife & I have tickets to Maysquatch, and this is still the best place for info. From: Edmonton, AB Favorite Bands: Clearly The RAA. Unfortunately they didn't take over the world in 2011. Turns out I'm not an indie music Nostradamus after all. The National are also up at the top of the list. After that it's all Foo Fighters and 90s stuff. First Concert Attended: Alanis Morrisette with Our Lady Peace and Frente, August 1997 Last Concert Attended: Boxer Rebellion I think. Honestly it's been a long ass time since I've been to a show. All time Favourite Festival: Pemberton 2008. I would go to the revival, but with 2 separate memorials that weekend it's not looking likely Sasquatches Attended: 2010

HG has got to be the most easily offended person on the planet. I am offended by grown adults who haven't mastered the fundamentals of communication and by people who equate war crimes with pretty much anything said on a message board. I'm probably not the most easily offended person on the planet, but the infernet sure is a fuckin' minefield. Like you know me, asshole. I'm cooler than all of your friends and nicer than your mom.

I see.
Are you saying that you're internet persona is drastically different from the real you?
I have a friend who, for whatever reason, has an internet persona that is very abrasive and condescending. In real life he is the nicest guy you'll ever meet, so I could see how you might be a pleasant person in real life as well.
