It's ok Pea. He was listening to Das Racist when he typed that. Wait, is Dead-Maw-Five black, or is this the second time today I didn't get a board joke? Just saying I feel the same way about Dad Rapist, as you do "random album title".

Wait, is Dead-Maw-Five black, or is this the second time today I didn't get a board joke? Just saying I feel the same way about Dad Rapist, as you do "random album title". Ahem, I won't be brief. I've had a really bad attitude about electronic albums in general for about a year now, since I spent hours listening to each dance tent act on last year's lineup. I got to the point where I almost wrote off listening to electronic music as something you need to experience live. Hudson Mohawk, Neon Indian, Z-Trip, Deadmau5, A-Track, Dam-Funk, even Booka Shade (who I had already seen, so I was drooling) were all painful to listen to on album. Gramma touched on this the other night, maybe the kids these days just don't have respect for the album. And the list goes on and on. Rusko, crap albums, I'd love to see him live. Bloody Beetroots, crap albums, they were awesome live. Hot Chip, Delorean, Flying Lotus, more crappy albums. I still really enjoy electronic music, and will go see a couple EDM show a year, but it's like for every electronic album I listen to that I like, I hate ten more. Getting into the Chemical Brothers for the first time has been a revelation lately (thanks Pea and Friendly), they actually have good albums. I think the only new electronic act I liked last year was Matthew Dear. Back to Moose v. Racist, at least Das Racist spits out some clever lyrics, and their beats are as catchy as Moose on album. I don't know, sometimes things get complicated.

Hot Chip isn't crappy ;..; See, that is why I like Geno. Out of all the bands I called out for being crappy, Geno nailed my one somewhat lie. I've had "Thieves In the Night" stuck in my head since you posted that, and I am listening to it now. Nice work kid.

Oh and Know, I feel the same damn way. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Sometimes I feel like maybe I'm just missing something because everyone goes ape shit over some of the electronic stuff but the only time it appeals to me is when I am seeing it live and I can dance my ass off.

Beck- Sea Change What the hell happened to Beck anyway? Is he being held prisoner by the Scientologists or what? I know he just produced Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks' upcoming album. He's been doing a lot of stuff, just none of those things really involve making a Beck album.

The songs he did for Sex Bob-omb are awesome, though.

My Miike Snow Pandora station just played the following:
LCD Soundsystem - Tribulations Peter, Bjorn, and John - Young Folks The XX - Heart Skipped a Beat Adele - Make You Feel my Love Vampire Weekend - Diplomat's Son
and,
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
Though some of those connections don't make sense, I'll take it, I guess.

I had a dream that I was hanging out with Adele at Coachella the other night. Strange, because I can't even name one of her songs.
