But it's really sad how his brother, like, died in a bathtub.

Am I the only one who gets freaked out when Stormy and Gramma talk to each other on this board? Are they in the same room when this happens? When is dinner ready?

Hahaha. I was on a bus. When we are at home we communicate with a complicated system involving tin cans and an advanced lever and pulley system designed to harness the natural energy of our cats. It truly is a sight to behold.

I also loved the album. I still do, I dunno why the live set just didn't impress me. I caught Miike Snow right before Sasquatch last year, and it was a let down. I had read reviews of Lollapalooza, and some website said Miike Snow was the highlight of the festival (the year before). There is always an asterick next to shows I see at the Hawthorne Theatre, because that place royally sucked. High expectation mixed with shitty venue, there was no way they were going to impress me. The worst part about the show was when they played my favorite song, but slowed it WAY down, so it was more of a ballad than an scream and jump song. I think they lost my interest after that. The song was "A Horse Is Not A Home." Yeah, "Horse."

Just finished listening to Collapse Into Now and all I can say is WOW!!! WOW WOW WOW!!
Having guests such as Eddie Vedder and Peaches was an incredible yet bold idea. I was pretty hesitant about Peaches singing but it sounded great, and how could you go wrong with Eddie Vedder singing background?
In the end, however, it was Patti Smith that blew the album out of the water!! It was nice that they utilized her more the other guests. "Blue" is one of the most interesting and original songs that R.E.M. has ever done, and the way they end the album the way it began, with a sort of "Discoverer" reprise is fucking awesome.
GREAT ALBUM and it will probably grace my player(s) for weeks to come!

Anyway... The Cure - Wish Grouplove - Grouplove EP

'Blue' is definitely the highlight, but even with Patti Smith doing the Kate Pierson thing for Stipe, I wouldn't be able to call it original - it's equal parts 'Texarkana' and 'E-Bow the Letter'. Still the best song they've recorded in the last decade.

Regardless, great album overall. "Blue" aside, the rest of the album kicks real ass. Know, if you had to choose 1 Ratatat album to recommend, which would it be?

Know, if you had to choose 1 Ratatat album to recommend, which would it be? I have recently gotten into Ratatat myself, and I too looked for guidance from the board. I was recommended Classics and their self titled album. I listened to both, in that order, and I really liked their self titled more. I'm definitely a young fan of theirs, but I recommend you listen to their self titled. And yes, I realize that I am not Know.
