The greatness of the White Pepper artwork extends beyond the front cover; if you look inside, the insert (and with the LP, the whole inside of the sleeve) is covered with hundreds of brightly colored peppers. That's when the Beatles reference becomes apparent, and kind of endows 'White Pepper' with its rightful place in Ween's discography: the album is a stylistic approximation of a cross between The Beatles (a.k.a. the White Album) and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and so is the artwork.
Brilliant. I fucking love Ween. Crystal Ballroom Wednesday night bitches!

A mysterious wind is blowing his hair in one direction and the palm trees in the other.

Well it IS his world. Maybe in Bieberworld the wind behaves differently than we're used to in Regular People World.

...with the paper slipcover (a la Lennon's 'Two Virgins'). Best not to post it without.

The best part is that album is actually about an evil, sex-addicted clown.

Can't find a bigger image, but ever since I was a kid I LOVED this cover. One day I'll do a little write up about it on the "Let's recommend.." thread. A very short, very fun, very strange very catchy and full of personality album (that was not actually a "real" album). Roger is amazing, he was also Alan-a-Dale in Disney's Robin Hood. Another favorite of my childhood

Okay last country one (maybe), A fantastic concept album about cheatin', preachin' and murderin'. Also "Blues Eyes Crying in the Rain" is as perfect of a country song there is and Willie does it great justice here and works it into his wild west melodrama very well.
