GTAV officially confirmed for game of the year. Yup. Paid off my preorder yesterday, now I just have to wait. At least I picked up The Walking Dead while I was there, so that should keep me occupied. I feel like an emotional masochist playing Last of Us and TWD back to back; not sure I'll have any feels left by the time GTA5 comes out.

Did you guys see the game BigFest for the Vita today? It's an "organize your own music festival" sim Made me think of you all!

I've always thought that sim games were a tedious waste of time, but I've always had this dream of there being a festival where the only bands are Seven Mary Three and Sponge, and they are forced to play alternating three-hour sets for twelve consecutive hours. Also there are only two Honey Buckets, and one of them is broken. Also they are only serving week-old curry, and the line for it is a mile and a half long. Also someone is making the rounds handing out bad acid.
Oh, and also you aren't allowed to leave.
What the hell is a Vita?

I can't find a single one I disagree with, but there doesn't seem to be a single 360 or PS3 game on there. Surely there's a few more to add!

They had Bayonetta and Uncharted 2 at one point, but too many people disagreed with putting them in there so they were taken out.

No Arkham City, no Red Dead Redemption, no Goldeneye... Lots of good games in there, but far from a comprehensive list.

Is Warioland really that great? I really have no clue, than one struck me as odd. Also I'd have to say Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat should be on there if Tetris is. Also God Of War. There a a few other old school games I could think of too, but I'm not so sure they have stood the test of time. It's a little fuzzy to read.

I found a Mega Man. No Castlevania that I could see. I remember some of those old Ninja Turtle games being pretty good. Right now I'm talking Super Nintendo days though.

It is perfect in my memory and I'm afraid that playing it again after being spoiled by what as come since would ruin my memory of it. Nonetheless, it pretty much laid the blueprint for all first person shooters, multiplayer shooters, and stealth shooters that came after it.

I played that new Tomb Raider game for, like, seven hours today. OOPS I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. It felt more like an Uncharted game than a Tomb Raider game, but that's definitely not a bad thing.

If it was any more like an Uncharted game, then it couldn't be because it is already fucking exactly like an Uncharted game. Still having a blast with it, though.

Anyone here played Diablo 3 for PS3 yet? I wasn't going to check it out at first because Diablo on a console seemed borderline sacrilegious to me, but it has been getting great reviews. I'm curious to hear from anyone who's actually played it.

The console version is what the entire game probably should've been before it was released on pc. Right now, the console version is by far the most fun version of the game, and the pc version won't be brought up to par until the expansion, which is at least 8 months away, and that makes me sad because I have played a lot of the pc version so I don't think it's worth it for me to start over.
