How much cheaper would it be to go to an outlet? I want to buy premier camping this year but I'm afraid it will sell out if I wait until I can get to an outlet on friday.

If you go on the schedule tab there are 22 bands currently on the Wookie stage.

I'm also thinking of premier camping this year. Last year I did general. How was your premier camping experience?

Around what time will the lineup be announced? 7am or 8am?

Someone made a comment on Dustin's predictions on the blog tonight saying that they got a newsletter saying Ben Harper will be at Sasquatch! Does anyone know more about this?

Sorry to interupt, but can some one explain Felix's rumors? what bands is he speculating on? He wrote... Felix on Feb 7th, 2009 at 12:31 pm Don’t worry…it’s not going to be cancelled. The headliners are pretty disappointing though. Felix on Feb 9th, 2009 at 11:52 pm The top 4 bands are KOL, 2 return headliners, and a reunion that most won’t care about. The 2nd tier bands are great though. consequenceofsound.net/festival-outlook/sasquatch-music-festival/

Mimicking Birds are soooo good!! They're currently touring with Modest Mouse, which made me think they wouldn't be there since MM opened last year?? I mean there's definitely the change they come on their own, I just think it's weird.... maybe MM will be a repeat as well?? I dunno just the whole Mimicking Birds thing throws me off a little, because I can totally see them coming, but who knows.... Ideas? I saw them during Portland's MFNW they were great! I think it a possibility due to their rising popularity.

Does anyone know if it's the same artist as last year. Maybe we can stalk his blog and find a poster like last year!

I got an email this morning from someone who was trying to book Grizzly Bear, and was told that it wouldn't be possible because Grizzly Bear would be at Sasquatch. Not an outside-verified, but I'd at least put this in the strong-likely category at least. I'm so excited! You just made my day!

DMB truthfully makes no sense, they can sell the Gorge for the same amount of time cause frat guys love them too much. I agree! There's no way they will play during Sasquatch! They are way too big in the NW and already have an annual gorge fest.

Here are a few other names that may be touring around Sasquatch and are possibilities: - Chairlift (band with that annoying handstand ipod commercial song) - opening for Peter, Bjorn & John - Flosstradamus Sat 05/23/09 12th Annual ETD POP Festival Daly City CA - After some research I realized ETD POP is a big electronic festival near San Fran. So perhaps they could snag some of these acts for a dance tent(?) and from this site: www.windishagency.com/avails a bunch more possibilities.. - Cornelius - Dan Deacon - Dave Seaman (not really sasq. material, unless there is a dance tent) - Dirty Projectors - Fever Ray - Fujiya & Miyagi - Holy Fuck - Jose Gonzalez - King Khan & the Shrines - Lykki Li - Peanut Butter Wolf - Royksopp - The Field - The Sea and Cake Wow a lot of those sound amazing!

No offense, but hearing people throw around names like 311, Pepper, No Doubt, and Guns n' Roses scares the living bejesus out of me. I'm not sure if I'm alone on this, but past bands like these (ex. Ozomotli) seem to bring a lot of people that only go to see one band, and attempt to make the festival a hell-hole for the rest of us. You're so not alone on that. I think some people are going to the wrong festival!

Haha I totally agree about the earplugs! Last year there was techno music blasting all night long it was like a constant rave. However, you do get to meet really cool people in general camping. I also got extremely burnt after the second day which totally sucks when people are dancing around and pooping into your shoulders.

Wow some people are wishing for bands that aren't considered sasquatch material... i hope this doesn't mean Sasquatch is changing! What makes this festival so fun is how unique and fun the bands are!

Anyone know/remember when they've made lineup announcements in the past? I'm pretty sure it was like February 20th.

Menomena will most likely be there. They are having an album coming out soon and even mentioned they will play a few festival shows.
