The National - Best live show I've ever seen Patrick Watson My Morning Jacket BSS Tegan & Sara The Hold Steady Vampire Weekend Band of Horses Laura Marling New Pornographers I've got a solid top 20 I want to/have to see. Not even including Dance tent acts, even though I know they have a solid line-up too. Need to modify: The National Mumford & Sons BSS Patrick Watson My Morning Jacket The Hold Steady Laura Marling New Pornographers The xx The Mountain Goats

Then get a bigger car! Although to be honest I only went with three last year and we were pretty full. We're taking a bigger suv this time around, and bringing along less useless stuff. Plus we have roof-racks. I know it will be packed tightly, but it beats driving another car, and paying for another camping pass.

I've e-mailed gorgeinfo@livenation.com to ask this specific question, but in relation to premier camping. I'm hoping for a positive response, but realistically they can't really turn you down after you show up with a pass and a car full of 5 people.

cant beat the price at 18 bucks a bag, oh wait. yes you could. pretty sure it was mentioned earlier that ice was $2/bag. Don't quote me on that, as I myself did not purchase any, but I'm pretty sure tons of people on the board can attest.

Fuck, this is why trying to guess the line-up beforehand can be dangerous. I was all stoked to see Nada Surf, but now I don't know what to do! Probably another few weeks before we get the official schedule anyways...

Just a regular music lover from Canada who's not used to being underage. I don't understand what you mean about grocery stores though? Sorry, the grocery store thing is in relation to the fact that beer is available at grocery stores in the US. Whereas us Canucks have to trot off to a "Liquor Store", or "Liquor control board, or beer stores" for those unlucky few who live in provinces where liquor is not privatized.

I think I only really "drank at the festival" the first day. Maybe a beer or two the other days, but nothing crazy. Water is your friend, and available for free. Bring an empty bottle, and save yourself some money.

Me and my friend are comingin from Canada. Although I'm legal in Canada I'm not in America do you think it will be hard to find someone to buy us some beer? Depends how much you are willing to pay, and how sketchy you look. I'd do it, but I'm anti-underage drinking. Especially when that shit is available in grocery stores.

It's probably like 5 minutes between Sasquatch and Wookie depending on crowds, and what side of the stage you are on to begin with. Wookie and Yeti are pretty close like 2 minutes apart. Yeti is a bit closer to Sasq, but not by much. The Dance Tent is closest to Wookie, but still probably only 3 minutes to Sasq. Overall, all the stages are pretty close, it just depends what kind of crowd you run into.

This year's Osheaga line-up is shaping up quite nicely. It takes place July 31st and August 1st 2010 downtown Montreal. For all you bitter Arcade Fire fans, just take a trip out to beautiful Montreal and see them live. Also playing are: Pavement, The National, Metric, The Black Keys, Stars, Beach House and Blitzen Trapper...among many more. I've already bought my tickets as Arcade Fire, Beach House and The Black Keys are worth the price of admission for me. See link for more info (look in the top left to translate to english) www.osheaga.com/

I remember going into the general store on Sunday before the show. The line-up was crazy, but I was curious to see what was in there. Most of the food/snacks were all gone. They had some crappy stuff left over, lots of water, lots of soda/vitamin water type drinks and actually lots of beer (surprising). Nothing was that badly overpriced, but I also didn't really buy much either. I would agree with the others, and get your food/drinks before you get to the fest. Much higher quality and much lower cost.

I've got an interesting story from last year. So, I'm heading back to Premier from Regular camping, and it's really dark out. My friends had already left, I had no flashlight, phone or anything. I had a vague idea where my site was, but it was really dark. Anyways, when I got to the road dividing regular and premier there was this disheveled dude in a wheelchair. The wheelchair was covered in flags, decorations and other items. The guy had a scruffy beard and a trucker hat, he looked hammered and was saying "Doesn't anyone want to party with me?...anyone?" He made eye contact with me as I walked by, but I was far too tired/drunk to party anymore. It was quite possibly the strangest thing I encountered while I was there.

Coming from Calgary and last year we took the crossing south of cranbrook. It wasn't too bad, we showed up at a bad time and had to wait about an hour in line. Basically everyone else was on their way to Sasquatch so we got asked around 5 questions and were promptly sent on our way. I've done the border crossing thing many times, never been stopped, but would still not recommend bringing anything illegal. I buy all my liquor in the states, as it's cheaper anyways, no drugs, no fruit, etc.
The drive on the way (HWY 85 & 90) through Coeur D'Alene and Spokane were really nice for the most part. Not worth going all the way to the cranbrook crossing though from where you are.
