I remember two years ago walking in the entrance having people full out sprint past me toward Wookie for Mumford and sons and thinking how hilarious it was that people's cared about them that much. Weird thing is they are still getting Grammy noms for that same two year old album. Not that the Grammies matter at all... That band seems like the backstreet boys of "indie" music. Like some suit cooked them up in an office like "chicks who listen to music at work and think they are different for liking Feist will eat these guys up"

I saw yeasayer two April's ago at the commodore here in vancouver. It was right after odd blood came out and it was a crazy energetic show that impressed the hell out of me, sleigh Bells opened too. Then at squatch last year it was like thy wanted to bore people, I ended up walking away with heems from Das racist to burn one...

The first track in that stupid mash-up is that stupid band fitz and the stupid tantrumz... this much I can tell you because a few stations here in Vancouver have been milking the shit out of that song. No idea about the rest.

According to the fork twin shadow is playing seattle on april 22 with the pains of being pure at heart. Has the whole "no seattle shows before squatch" rule for sasquatch acts been thrown out the window? what yall think?

Das Racist released two of the best if not the best mixtapes of last year, check out the title track from Sit Down, Man and Amazing (also on that mixtape). Im pretty god damn excited they are making a stop at Sasquatch this year. Would you rather have Wale? nahhhhhhhhh. This is some good ass intelligent hip-hop that wont bring out the bros, with there fist-pumping.
