Erica you beat me to it! Nice work!
I received an e-mail this morning from Travis Hay that has the same info. It is on!

Kings of Leon just played in Seattle in late October, I am not sure it sold out, but even if it did it only holds 3500 people so I would be surprised if they headlined Sasquatch!, a 20,000 person venue. Having said that, I would not be unhappy if they headlined! Yeah, it sold out and there were a ton of people at the venue trying to get tickets. That's awesome, maybe they will headline a night, but I think that they will be right before a headliner. Modest Mouse and Death Cab for Cutie have played the Key Arena and they still played before a headliner last year. However, I haven't heard many other viable headliners, we'll know soon...

P.S. Travis Hay from the blog Ear Candy is saying that the Sasquatch! lineup will be announced on the 17th, which in years past (except last year) has been when the announcement has been made the Tuesday after Presidents day. He is a pretty trusting source.

Does anyone know when the website goes up or when it went up last year? I just did a little reconnaissance work and found a post by a member dated Sunday February 10th of last year that the site went up. Soo maybe it will be this Sunday the 8th?!? or the 15th?

I don't know about anyone else, but I was having a hard time keeping up with all the threads (which is awesome!) so I upped the most recent posts from 10 to 30. Hope that helps!

I've been pondering if blur might be a headliner. The only thing is that they have been advertising a show for July 2nd in Hyde Park, which makes me think they will play that date as their official reunion and hit the states sometime later.

Here is a good rumor, Franz Ferdinand announced a partial tour. They are playing alot of festivals and there are some blank dates in the US around Sasquatch. No date out of the US till May 30th, maybe a Sasquatch close? Apr 4 - Coliseo de Atarfe Granada, Granada Apr 15 - Fox Theater, Oakland, California (tix) Apr 17 - Coachella Indio, California May 07 - Roseland Ballroom, NY, NY May 30 - Jelling Festival Jelling www.brooklynvegan.com/archives/2009/02/franz_ferdinand_20.htmlThey are playing the Paramount in Seattle on April 13th, it is doubtful they will play Sasquatch! this year.

I tried to figure this out with the admin tools, but I am not sure that it is possible. So unless someone has an idea of how to make the oldest of the last 10 posts first I would just scroll to the bottom and work your way back up.

I would be really surprised if Animal Collective is not at Sasquatch! 2009 based on their tour schedule.

I haven't seen anywhere that would dismiss the possibility that Coldplay is not playing Sasquatch!
Their last date in New Zealand on both their official website and pollstar is 3/19/09 and their first date after that is in Denmark on 8/16/09, that's a huge gap and plenty of time to do a tour in the U.S. Did you find a site that says otherwise?

Originally this message board was made by someone who lives on the east coast. I think it would be appropriate to change the time. I will look into it. Actually, it looks like this may have already been changed by another administrator. Ok, I was wrong it was not fixed, but it should be now. I changed the time zone default to pacific. Sorry for all this off topic chatter.

Speaking of late night, how come whenever one posts a comment, three hours are added to their post time? If we all live on the west coast, shouldn't the clock on this site be west coast time? I am probably way out of line, I guess you are all east coast folk. Originally this message board was made by someone who lives on the east coast. I think it would be appropriate to change the time. CCoult, in regards to Abe Vigoda, I apologize. I haven't listened to them so that was ignorant of me to say. I saw that they were described as Tropical Punk Rock and made the leap. In addition, I realize that Sasquatch! have hosted a few punk genre bands over the years. I now have a new band to check out! Thanks for being cool about my ridiculous remark.
