Hey ya'll, it's been a while but I've been lurking. Just popping in to say I'm selfishly a bit relieved this lineup isn't great, as I'm going to a wedding that weekend and Gorge FOMO is the worst FOMO of all the FOMOs. Hoping we can make it through this and get blessed with a legit PortTownsquatch to make up for it.

I'll never forget the time at Sas 2010 when I came back to camp (heavily corn-chipped) after getting mind fucked by My Morning Jacket, found a cuddle party inside my friends' tent, and weaseled my way into the best spot in the middle of their air mattress and blanket piles. I have never been more comfortable in my entire life. So yeah, air mattresses.

yo samsquanch how come you never told me you're one of my best friends from high school's roommates Catfish complete. I shall now sell my account to the highest bidder. Sorry to do you dirty like that, rimjob, but it's nothing personal. A fella's gotta eat.

Not that there are any surprises or changes from every other year, but the map is out: Will Pond be performing at both pond stages, simultaneously, for the entirety of the festival??

At the main stage, if you get inside the partition you can hang out towards the back with all the room in the world around you and you're plenty close to get the full experience. It's my go-to spot. For me though, if it's an act I really care about, the experience just isn't the same if you're much further back than that.

A bit bummed about missing Thundercat entirely, too, but no way I'm leaving the main stage while Jesus Vernon is getting ready to come bless us.

I'm struggling with the Paak vs. National thing too, think I might just leave a bit early because I've seen The National like 5+ times and being in The Shit for Paak sounds like so much fun. But overall, I'm pretty happy with the lack of conflicts for me personally. I'm not as obsessed with Tash as y'all seem to be, so that's an easy one for me, POND all the way. Probably will have to leave early to get close for the Byrne though. Saturday gets a bit hairy with Grizzly Bear, Jlin, Spoon, Pedro the Lion, TVOTR, and Rostam all kinda overlapping but overall it could be a lot worse.

I actually kind of like the Bumbershoot lineup...aside from The Chainsmokers, who do indeed ruin everything. I mean, compared to what we've come to expect from a Bumbershoot lineup, anyway. What exactly do you like about it? At least in my opinion there are only three or four sets i’d be interested in. There are too many people with 1 or 2 good songs that were hits and that’s it. Fleet Foxes, SZA, Portugal. The Man, Phoenix, Chromeo, Young Thug, Blondie, Cold War Kids, T-Pain, Rhye, Moses Sumney. It's certainly not a Sasquatch-level lineup or anything, but there's some good stuff in there. Fleet Foxes are one of my favorite bands and I live walking distance from the Seattle center, if there are enough other acts on the day they play that I like, I may go for a day.

All three Bonny Bear albums are masterpieces to be honest.

Tyler is playing to a backing track and not with a band as I would have thought from his tiny desk concert. The stage setup is dope, but this is making me feel less bed about not being close for him closing out bigfoot on Friday, cause there's no way in hell I'm leaving Bon Iver early
