^^^ Can someone please tell me who the hell this guy is and what he is talking about. I am the Dogglesnoffer! Music Nerd extraordinare... 'Factory Floor' is a newer project out of england. Kind of have a Factory Records type of sound. Also like to see 'A PlaceTo Bury Strangers'.... Well... Factory Floor are playing in Europe at another festival in May so no go for them. Poor me. A Place To Bury Strangers would still be a nice fit though..

What a crock of SHIT!!!! So we're supposed to blindly buy tickets to a 3 day concert just to be seen? ?? I love throwing $170 + another $150 for camping in a bottle and tossing it into the sea to see if it'll come back to me 10 miles down the road.

I'll always be happy to see the Flaming Lips there.
I'm hoping for -
- The Chemical Brothers - Fleet Foxes (I'm guessing they're a given considering the elevation of popularity) - Iron And Wine - Jandek (That would blow my mind but this is a fantasy list right?) - The Mountain Goats - Nick Cave - Sigur Ros - Sufjan Stevens - Tenacious D (I'm thinking they're also going to almost definitely going to make the cut) - Cotton Jones Basket Ride - Black Moth Super Rainbow - Animal Collective - Conor Oberst / Bright Eyes - Daft Punk - Robyn Hitchcock
OK, this is silly. I could name bands till I turn blue.

A birdy told me that the guys are hanging in Portland all week.
Keep your ears to the ground,,you never know??
I don't want anyone to think there's really something happening for sure but it's great to dream right? My guess is that they're hanging out at Isaacs pad planning the best collaboration EVER! Still dreaming, well.. just the end bit.
Anyway, if you other Portlanders hear of a secret concert or screening of the Christmas on mars movie, help a brother out.

Well, I agree as well that the staff as a whole were complete morons.
We were in gate 14.
The pluses for our premiere experience were-
Tons of room (We had two tents and set up a nice size silver tarp to keep out the sun and rain and still had gobs of space)
No bag check / no ticket taking on monday at the bus drop off venue entrance (we noticed this on sunday too and prepared ourselves for monday with a bottle of prosecco for the flaming lips...but.....no corkscrew!! As for the tickets..well, we played honest and didn't sell them..only because we were too lazy to walk back up the hill to the main entrance. That was dumb as we could have bought like 2 or 3 $11 beers with the money)
Finding friends from Seattle just a stones throw away
Nice neighbors (hope you made it to work ok)
More super cool Canadians camping in a sweet Volkswagon Bus (wish I got your contact info for trips up to visit our neighbors to the north)
All in all, some great pluses.
As for the minuses... well I think you all got the rest covered.
I still had way more fun than I thought I'd have so I'd say............ Worth it.

I swear, I met so many people from Canada and you know what? They were ALL super great people!!!
Not afraid to have fun unlike most people there. Why is it that crowds these days only hoot and holler for a band when they're done with the set??? How about boosting the energy by raising holy hell all the way through for fuc#'s sake!
WOW, Thank you Canadians for not being too cool for school!

I have two tickets still for the 2:30 show that never happened. The fucking venue decided to pull out the "we have a strict curfew" bullshit. Kliph came out and sincerely apologized for the plug being pulled even though it was not their fault at all.
I feel more bummed for the lips going to all the trouble to set up a tent for a much anticipated premiere that only maybe 400 people were able to attend.

Or you could sneak in premiere and have some whiskey and weed at our compound.

So should we make a ridiculous password or wear two different socks or walk with limps?
