This was brought up somewhere in the shitposting thread but I don't want to sift through all the Frasier .gifs again twice was good enough for me). I'm now holding off buying my pass until Sled Island announces their lineup and I have an opportunity to see how my Pearl Jam tickets go. Probably looking at buying in two weeks. I'm in the same boat in when I can buy dude. I already bought Wild Horse so I REALLY hope I don't have to find aftermarket tickets in a few weeks haha Looks like Wildhorse increased their prices a bit this year, but $200 for 4 nights us still better than staying in District 9. If I end up going we will 100% be at Wildhorse. Have to meet up for beers and Wild Burgers!

Slowdive will not be in the tent. Neither will Thundercat. At the very least later Bigfoot sets for both, if not mainstage. Thundercat was main stage at Day for Night, albeit earlier in the day. I don’t suppose that Slowdive would have a chance in hell of a late night set? Because that would be ideal.

This turned in to shitposting right quick. Someone tell me all the acts we think go in the tent? Slow Dive, Thundercat, Snakehips, Jai Wolf, NoName, Jlin Slowdive will not be in the tent. Neither will Thundercat.

1. Slowdive 2. The National 3. Bon Iver 4. Spoon 5. Explosions in the Sky 6. Jeff Rosenstock 7. Wolf Parade 8. Grizzly Bear 9. Phoebe Bridgers 10. Modest Mouse
Runners Up: White Reaper, Thundercat and Pedro the Lion
Not sure where else to throw this, but I am very baffled by the high placement of Ray Lamontagne. I have no issue with him as a singer, but I am really not sure why he`s on the second line? Where will he fit into the schedule? Hopefully not before Bon Iver or The National.

Sweeeeeet! I am also working on getting there this year as well. Didn’t think it would work since I’m doing a family trip to Disneyland the week before, but fuck it. This is too hard to pass up. This is gonna be like a reunion tour! R.E.M. reunion comfirmed as a late addition.

Flashback Monday: Baby Father John Misty at 2 on the yeti? Not to mention Fleet Foxes opening the festival main stage. Damn that was a great year. My first Sasquatch!

Not able to make it this year, but I will say that is one dandy of a lineup. The thing I like about it is the familiarity of it all. It's like a home cooked comfort meal. You know what you're getting going in, there's no surprises and you know at the end you'll be fulfilled and satisfied.
Goddamn it hurts to miss Slowdive!
Have fun!

And the 2.0 they gave The Fragile when it first came out Just because a visual is needed to fully appreciate how fucking stupid this reviewer is. That's fucked. The Fragile is amazing. At least they came to their senses with the remastered extended edition. 8.7 for that version.

Oh yeah that song should have been shelved and locked away for all eternity. I actually doubt I'll revist the album much, if at all, but the hate it's receiving is totally undeserved. For some reason Pitchfork has launched an all out war against him because of it. Yup. It's not that bad. A score of 3 on Pitchfork is usually held for the likes of Jet and new Weezer albums.

Man, critics are shredding this new Justin Timberlake album. It certainly has some bizarre moments and is wildly inconsistent, but I'm kind of charmed by it. I'll take a page out of HG's book and say that this is one terribly misguided album that makes for some pretty good entertainment. Given the hype about how "rootsy and different" this album was supposed to be I decided to give it a spin. He's a great vocalist but I didn't hear a whole of difference between this album and his past ones. It was a fine listen but nothing spectacular. Having said that, "Supplies" is an AWFUL song.

This has already been a solid year this far! Please add:
Ty Segall - Freedom's Goblin
This album is great combination of all of Ty's styles and genres. Awesome album.

Holyshit. After this comment just doing an image search stirs up so many assumptions and prejudgments. I can't believe that I forgot to mention the hair. Nothing wrong with assumptions. As soon as I saw him , the first band that popped into my my mind was Korn, which I felt bad about afterwards because I realized it was an insult to Korn.

That Bunbury lineup looks a hell of a lot like what could be a Sasquatch lineup. Does anybody wanna give me a summary of Post Malone's music, or do I have to find out the hard way? Shitty auto-tune half sing not quite rap with dark trap beats and lyrics about doing drugs like a rock star. Kinda like Future but worse because future can actually rap. I listened to his album once and almost turned it off halfway through. It's really bad. I'm not sure how you made it through a full album, but KUDOS. I just sampled some of the Youtube posts that have been posted and I couldn't even get through one of those. Acoustic covers of Nirvana and Dylan, then painful auto-tuned R&B rap? His style seems a little disjointed, unfocused and dull.

Sure Sure - Sure Sure Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Wrong Creatures these past few weeks I've been going through every single artist I don't recognize on any festival lineup and found these guys from the Lollapalooza Paris one Black Rebel Motorcycle Club completely fell off of my radar. I pull out their first two albums from time to time, but I just went and checked their album output over the years and saw that the last "new" one I listened to was Howl...in 2005!
