I'm not sure if this type of soliciting is allowed on here but I'll give it a shot... So I have decided to go forth on the Movember trip this year. If anyone is interested in supporting the cause, and donating to my team, here is some info and the link. Hi, It's Movember and time to make a difference.
Men’s health is a cause I am passionate about but in order to make a difference I need your help. My commitment is to grow a moustache for the month of November and in doing so, raise vital awareness and funds for prostate cancer and male mental health.
I am asking you to help support my personal journey by making a donation. The size of which isn’t important, every little bit helps Movember to continue funding its world class programs. If you want to know more about what you’ll be helping to fund, you can visit ca.movember.com/about/funding-overview/.
To highlight the importance of what I am doing, take a look at these statistics: • 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime • This year 26,500 new cases of the disease will be diagnosed • 1 in 5 men will experience a mental illness this year
If you’d like to help change these statistics, please donate to me here: mobro.co/168085
If you’re interested, here’s a video that will help you better understand the type of programs you’ll be helping to fund by making a donation. For wider details, take a look at the Programs We Fund section on the Movember website: ca.movember.com/about/funding-overview/
Thank you in advance for supporting my efforts to change the face of men's health.

Do I think they come cheap? No. Do I think they come cheaper than Deadmau5, or Jack White, or Massive Attack? Yes. I see your point. The one thing that make them cheaper is the fact that have a minimal amount of instruments and probably next to no light show. Edit: Never mind. I just watched the trailer for their Red Rocks show and it appears they've upped the ante from when they played Sasquatch in 2010.

Do you really think they come cheap? Wouldn't you think that because they are in such high demand at the moment they would charge more?

I have it from a very reliable source that Mumford and Sons are scheduled to play a May date in Calgary at the Saddledome. If this turns out to be true then they are a guaranteed lock for one of the headliner spots.

Woop woop picking up tickets last minute to Dan Mangan at face value despite it being sold out. I keep thinking I have really bad karma lately but then good things happen. It's gonna be a great show! Can't wait for Rural Alberta Advantage.

Since leaving on hiatus, the only bands I've seen were Refused and Thee Oh Sees. Refused were pretty good, but didn't really do it for me.
Thee Oh Sees on the other hand, WERE FUCKING AMAZING! I had never seen them before, and I enjoyed the shit out of their show. They have such a great vibe about them, played professionally, and their sound was superior. The crowd was bonkers as well. I? haven't seen a crowd lose their collective shit and cause such a ruckus since I last saw the Monotonix. People were dancing, jumping around and moshing like it was Slayer on stage. It was just nuts and I can't wait to see them again.

Blacksmile- It appears we were standing quite close to eachother for the Mars Volta/Flaming Lips. Seriously, fuck that spoiled little bitch Cedric. After dodging his multiple loogies, watching him stomp a camera man's face and roll around on stage shrieking like a douche bag, I just about had it and nearly retreated to the hill. I stuck it out and Wayne pulled me gently out of that nightmare, thank god. Are you in that pic somewhere or do you just remember that view? As awful and excruciating as it was, I was some how drawn into Mars Volta's performance. I'm not saying I liked it, but I just couldn't look away. Maybe that's their secret power!

Loved the thoughts you put forth on this album for sure, but no matter what I do or how hard I try, The Mars Volta is just not my thing. I couldn't get through the album. The non stop guitar wanking and noise painfully reminded me of having to sit though this... to get to this... Like I said, amazing and original introduction to an album with just as interesting of a concept, just not my bag.

Soundgarden - King Animal
The small sample released sounds promising. Matt Cameron is one of the best drummers going.
