Not based on anything, I just want to talk about Sasquatch. I think a best case scenario top six that leans toward pop looks something like: LCD Soundsystem / Frank Ocean / Fleet Foxes / Missy Elliott / The Shins / Lorde. I know that's probably way off (probably too expensive), but I'm thinking best case scenario in a year where Sasquatch really needs to "go for broke." I think those artists are relevant, interesting, and would attract new attendees.

Run the Jewels are booked in Illinois Memorial Day weekend... As far as I can tell, Summer Camp hasn't announced which day Run the Jewels will play. It's very easy for them to travel with only three guys and Trackstar's DJ equipment. They could easily play the first/last day of Summer Camp and the last/first day of Sasquatch.

Chic are at the end of the second line or the beginning of the third line on most fake Coachella posters. I don't think they'd play Sasquatch, but maybe Project Pabst in Portland next summer!

Moses Sumney and Hundred Waters seem to be likely grabs for Sasquatch. Moses from this response i.imgur.com/jjL4S5J.png Hundred Waters is finishing up their new album, haven't been to the PNW in a while, and last played Sasquatch in 2013. I'm happy about Moses Sumney! I missed an opportunity to see him this fall and look forward to seeing him at Sasquatch. I plan to start the Rumo(u)rs/Confirmations 2017 Thread next week. We have at least 7 solid leads now and will have a few more after Coachella is announced. Pea, do you still have a connection to Zacks for a crossover count or any other info?

Does it violate "NO REAL NAMES" to shoutout a boarder whose Instagram post sharing an unannounced new 12" was featured on a major music site?

Do we know when the lineup will be released yet? I know there was some talk of the 1/28 timeframe but I can't find anything confirming a date yet We do not. We think it will be January 23 or 24 because tickets go on sale on Saturday, January 28, and the lineup has traditionally been released the Monday or Tuesday before tickets go on sale.

Unexpected hot take: the new Childish Gambino album is not very good.
Unexpected only because it's doing so well critically.
Tangentially related: FX's Atlanta is so good.
Donald Glover is playing with my mind.

Does anyone remember if there's precedent for a band to skip Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, etc. and play Eastern Washington on a spring tour and then play Sasquatch? Local Natives play Spokane in April, but nothing in the big cities that Sasquatch draws most of its attendees from. It could also be that after Coachella announces Local Natives on its lineup, they'll add more West Coast tour dates, but for now, I think they're a Primavera crossover. Or maybe they're just bummed the last West Coast tour didn't sell out - I watched them play about a 2/3rds full Crystal Ballroom in Portland.
