One thing I always like to think about after the line up is announced is potential collaborations and/or covers, etc. There are a few that come to mind so far: Kid Cudi with MGMT for "Pursuit of Happiness" Pavement and Quasi have lots of ties Jim James and M. Ward = one half of Monsters of Folk Members New Pornos, Tegan and Sara, or even Patrick Watson could hook up with BSS (btw lets hope BSS has the A+ lineup including Emily Haines and/or Feist) Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend could join The Very Best on "Warm heart of africa" Perhaps a bit of jamming between MMJ and the DBTs The National seem to collaborate with everyone. Members of Dirty Projectors perhaps? That's all I can think of right now. I'm sure there are more possibilities out there. I saw Portugal. The Man. and Minus the Bear on tour together and they ended with a 20-minute jam session. I wouldn't be surprised to see this at squatch.

As stated earlier, The Postal Service IS a possibility, even if they said "im not doing any more postal service stuff. as far as the whole she & him thing goes, i think rilo kiley is more likely with the postal service. i wouldnt count on monsters of folk being at squatch. as for SONIC YOUTH, holy shit if they play i will pass out in a pool of my own jizzum...... and there is nothing ruling them out right now.

here's a rumor: Ben Gibbard & Jay Farrar played a few shows in january. they said they would be keeping their schedules open for the summer. i think there is a small chance of them playing... OR! THE POSTAL SERVICE! you can't rule it out completely.... -they played sasquatch in '04 -death cab's not touring right now. -give up has sold a shitload over the past few years and TPS has played only a couple shows. -this would make sasquatch reeeeally stand out.

I just don't see Wilco making a trip from Primavera specifically to play at Sasquatch. The National is a good bet with their recent dates, I just can't get into these guys they just seem like such wussys. As far as TCV, we can all hope and pray but I think Dead Weather is more likely. I know that opinions can't be wrong and all that, but this is just god damn fucking stupid. THE NATIONAL: WUSSYS FAMILY-FRIENDLY RADIO ROCK: PRAYIN' 4 IT im confused. are you thinking of They Might Be Giants? they are the "family-friendly" tour right now.

Rise Against just added another festival date stateside, this time Rock on the Range in Ohio. They're doing Bonnarroo as well, but a bunch of European festivals, with that in the middle, so at least three plane flights hauling all their gear around (from the states to Denmark, then from Germany to Tennessee, then Tennessee to Sweden) - given that they're doing a load of festivals, that right now they have about a 9 day gap in their schedule, and they haven't played the area since July..I guess it's possible, certainly more likely than before. Apparently they're also doing Vive Latino in April, so another festival. If they don't do Sasquatch I really think Bumbershoot might be their destination over here. If they did play, do yall see them headlining? If Rise Against plays, I will personally shit in Adam Zack's mouth.

after trying to read through the rumors thread again and realizing that it was taking me over a half-hour, i have decided to make a thread for all of the useless comments that take up unnecessary space. this board is for:
• Any/All comments about bands you love/hate. • Any comments about how much you hate the rumors thread now. • Any comments about how much you love interstateeight. • Any death threats towards other members. • Your current tweets and/or facebook status. • Your sexual orientation. • An in-depth list of reasons why Jack Johnson should not be at Sasquatch. • Any comments explaining how drunk/stoned you happen to be. • ALL other useless shit that we all love to say.
... just to clear up some space.

King Khan & the Shrines is playing Seattle and Van in April. Looks like a return visit is unlikely. Too bad, they put a great show on last year. But I will no doubt see them in Van anyways. DAMN! he's fucking awesome with the shrines...

can i get a hells yea for dr. dog? looks like their holding of on going to the northwest until around may... (cross your fingers) also built to spill is a possibility because of the new album... i've seen bts over 10 times now. doug martsch keeps getting older, fatter, and balder, but his voice is still invincible.

If all 4 of who you suggested came this year, I may never return to Sasquatch on the assumption it couldn't get better after that. Only thing that could is Springsteen, Nick Cave, and for shits and giggles the Misfits re-united. I agree with you on that one, man... Nick Cave is fantastic, The Boss is the Boss, and The Misfits are definately just a fun sort of band now... seeing as Jerry Only does all of the vocals now... but hey, who doesn't like dancing around drunk to Misfit songs playes 5 times fast?

I vote the Pixies come for sure... I saw them on their latest re-reunion show.... amazing. Also, Sigur Ros is just great anytime. As well as The Arcade Fire and Broken Social Scene. Tom Waits, too...
Post a lot about who you want to come to this year's festival... maybe they read the threads for lineup ideas..
