I'm not really answering anyone's question here, since I always camp, but what are the cops like after the show. Most people camp on site, and a lot of us drink (and some do other things not as legal). The cops are always terrible entering the Gorge, and I see people getting pulled over every year on the way in. It's like the cops and towtrucks know this is one of the few times a year they can make money off out of towners, and I would guess they are worse on the way out, since people drink. Then again, the traffic after the show might keep people from speeding, so maybe you are safe. this is all too true! Every year after the fest (I have never camped on site) when I am leaving there is always a ton of cops and people pulled over....its scary!

OK, welcome to me naming bands. Third Stagers: Whatever.Really? Some of my favorite shows were on the Yeti stage last year. I think that's a super important part of the festival. Hopefully the lineup is just as good as last year. I agree, either the yeti has a bunch of local acts that I actually like, or they is bound to be some smaller bands that I will end up liking after seeing them live at the festival!!!!

Hmm... I don't quite remember the ceiling falling down; I remember getting there awkwardly early (silly Seattle 21+ crowd, attempting a fashionably late entrance while the balcony fills up) and standing at the very front. Didn't see much but the band. And no, I remember wondering if I'd ever forgive myself for missing their show in 08. I guess I'll let it go now... they where both great shows!!! and I have to say there 09 show was better than there 08 show so lucky you!!!!!

One of my favorite bands, Los Campesinos!, just announced some spring dates. Here we go: 04/30 - Chicago, IL @ Cabaret Metro 05/04 - Seattle, WA @ Showbox Theatre 05/07 - San Francisco, CA @ Grand Ballroom 05/08 - Los Angeles, CA @ El Rey Theatre Although I maintain that they are (a) fucking amazing and (b) great for Sasquatch, it looks like they won't be there this year. Fortunately, I'll be seeing them in San Francisco, and I urge all of you to go to their Showbox show if you can! I will agree with you totally, I was thinking they where going to play sasquatch, but hey a show at the show box early may is just fine, and they are amazing live, I have never been disapointed when seeing them live, and I have seen them three times!

Very easy. The parking lot is relatively close to the gates... you'll have to get a parking pass that's it. I have never had a parking pass???

Bowie would be...sigh....so amazing. Love him. Others I would love to see: AIR Sigur RosPhoenix (would be my 2nd time seeing them. They played an amazing show at the Greek Theater in LA the day after my birthday!) Metric (same as Phoenix) Lykke LiBlack Rebel Motorcycle Club M83 (were so amazing last year, would love to see them again) Band of HorsesBat for Lashes Miike Snow Empire of the Sun Beach House Goose Broken Social Scene Beck CaribouThe Clash (if only Joe Strummer were still alive...it's a wish list) Cut Copy Daft Punk Justice Death from Above 1979 Dinosaur Jr. Foo Fighters (I've wanted to see them live ever since I was a kid, despite the fact that I'm not crazy about their new stuff) Hot Chip Late of the Pier M. Craft Lauryn Hill would be pretty amazing We could all get sensual and sexy with Sade Musee Mecanique PelicanPeter Bjorn and John Phil Collins (I'm sorry, I love him.) Pinback Prefuse 73The Presets Radiohead and/or Thom Yorke Ratatat Say Hi Sea Wolf Sebastien Tellier She & Him The Shins Simian Mobile Disco Van She The Von Bondies Working for a Nuclear Free City Massive AttackThe RootsJapandroids (I don't know how they could top the intimate, super fun show they played at a local bar in my hometown, but it would be interesting to see them on a bigger stage, with better sound.) Yacht Spoon El Ten Eleven Royksopp Wilco A string quartet playing Phillip Glass compositions.ATTN I would pay any amount to go to this festival. Maybe add in: A Silver Mt. Zion Bjork The Books Dj Shadow Dredg Efterklang El-P Gavin Castleton (or Gruvis Malt reunion) Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground Patrick Watson Porcupine Tree To name a few. Ps. Awesome choices btw (though sadly many of yours, and mine, wouldn't really be festival material). both of you posted some awesome bands, that I would really truely enjoy seeing there!!!
