I think her question was more is it worth trying to get there a couple hours before entry, and what that line is like? I'm not going to be able to help with what the line is like, but I'm guessing it is minimal at worst. Granted, it is nice to have one of the first 1,300 spots or so, to be close to the entrance, but I have shown up mid evening Friday night, and once after dark, and still got a great spot, way before overfill started filling up. You should get a great spot showing up anytime during the day Friday. And since you don't know me, you won't be able to track me down if I'm wrong. You nailed the question, and thanks for the answer! I'm glad to hear we will still get a decent spot for camping. You have sparked another question though... I understand there are no trees, so essentially it's just a parking lot. Do you get to choose where you camp, or is it just staff directing you where to go?

Hello People! I'm a Sasquatch noob! I have read through his whole thread, and just wanted to say thanks for all the great info!!! Just one question.... What is the lineup like getting in on Friday at noon? We're traveling from Calgary Canada after work thursday, gonna drive as far as possible and crash in a hotel for the remainder of the evening. Should we try and be there at like 10am to get a decent spot in line, or wait till early afternoon when the line has died down... will we still get a decent camping spot? I think that's all I have for now... thanks
