What do you mean 'get skipped'? They were on the schedule and as far as I know there was nothing on stage during that time. If they were going to 'skip' them they would have had to push all the sets and seriously fuck up the schedule. Phantogram was still late regardless. I have never heard of a band being skipped at a music festival before, I don't know where you got that idea from. i've definitely seen bands get b-u-m-p-e-d before. But I stand corrected, just did some research and travel issues were apparently the culprit, and the festival did notify us via the app (altho a human voice over the PA would have been nicer) slog.thestranger.com/slog/archives/2014/05/25/liars-cancelled-die-antwoord-ruledI had a religious experience at Mogwai, easily one of the most memorable music experiences of my life. Am 35 and been seeing lots of live music for the past 20 years, and it's been many many years since any band hit me as deeply (and loudly) as they did. QOTSA had the best headlining performance, Foals absolutely ripped the main stage apart, lots of great music all weekend long, really love the Gorge and this festival.

Did Liars cancel or get skipped?
My thought was that they got skipped b/c the festival and/or Phantogram didnt want to push back their hyped (and godawful) evening set. regardless, it was a huge disappointment and a terrible way to start the weekend.

too much overlap between QOTSA and Gesafflestein total overlap between AlunaGeorge and PtM total overlap between Neko Case and Ryan Hemsworth total overlap between First Aid Kit and Dodos
that's all i got for complaints.

I think quiet hours start at midnight but I'm not entirely sure. I wouldn't anticipate playing music at your campsite after the festival at Wild Horse. People stay up partying but they will come around and tell you to quiet down if you're being obnoxious about it. right on, sounds like a great place to unwind from a headfull of clean liquid

So does quiet time at Wildhorse mean no music playing in the campsites at any level? If your name is KrazyKarl I would advise against staying at Mildhorse. heh, duly noted. the name is actually more ironic than anything. I'm all for the varied pleasures of sensory enhancement, but to the outside world I'm extremely mild-mannered.
