Please add: Courtney Barnett - Sometimes I Sit and Think, And Sometimes I just SitIn an ordinary year, Earl Sweatshirt and Action Bronson would probably be working their way onto my list too, but I think that Kendrick might have ruined regular rap albums for me. Motherfucker raised the bar. Agree on the Kendrick comment but I love Earl's album so much.

I've actually never gone because it's always been 4th on the list to me behind Sasquatch, Block Party and MFNW. That being said, after last years shitstorm at MFNW I might give Bumbershoot a shot this year depending on the lineup.

Guys, I think I like Ryan Adams. Usually, that borderline country heartland Americana Mellencamp rock doesn't do anything for me, but this dude is one hell of a songwriter and some of his songs give me the serious feels. Plus, his self titled album that came out last year is actually really good. When I first saw the lineup, I thought he was billed way too high, but the dude has 14 studio albums (not counting the stuff he did with the two bands he was in over the years and several live albums), so I think he's earned the high billing. He also has quite a reputation as an exceptional live performer. Barring any major scheduling conflict, I think I will be enjoying his set this year. Adams is outstanding live. He's going to put on a helleva show. His songwriting and work got stagnant while he was married to Mandy Moore. Now that he kicked her to the curb, it seems like he's got his mojo back and I expect a great performance, hopefully with some Natalie Prass mixed it.

Passion Pit just announced a tour (including two shows in Seattle two days before Sasquatch) with no Portland shows. Their last announced date is 8/16 in Japan. They seem like a reasonable headliner rumor for MusicFest NW this summer (8/21-23 in Portland). Man after that clusterfuck last summer, I'm not sure I can ever do MFNW again. That was flat out embarassing.

So looking at artists performing only at Coachella, I feel like there's a few possibilities for some nice additions: Lykke Li, Porter Robinson, George Ezra, FKA Twigs, Madeon, and Toro y Moi. Some of these might be on other lineups, haven't checked too thoroughly. FKA Twigs was one of the artists, along with Flying Lotus and Bjork that I was shocked to not see on the lineup. I'd love to see all three of them added.

That Kendrick track is out of control... King Kendrick is back with this one. I was briefly concerned with the album when he released "i" but this, along with some snippets I've heard of the album, has me more excited than ever. I think he's going to win a lot of people over with his performance at the Gorge.

My dudes!! We got Bishop Nehru... NehruvianDOOM! Seriously, anyone into hip hop needs to get on board with this MF Doom project. This kid is going to kill it, so stoked I get to see him live. 24 hours in from the lineup announcement and I've found my first hidden gem. I love Sasquatch season! I was pumped to see this as well but then lost my hard on when I realized Doom wasn't coming with. Still should be a good show nonetheless.

Kendrick also came out over a half hour late for his set at last year's Pemberton...hopefully since he's headlining that won't be an issue. I mean, he's the first fucking name on the poster. Can also attest to to extreme awesomeness and down-to-earthitude of both halves of RTJ. I've rubbed Killer Mike's belly for luck way too many times. This is surprising to hear. I've seen Kendrick twice, once at free show sponsored by The Fader and then opening for Kanye on the Yeezus tour and he was incredible both times. Great energy, knows how to work the crowd and had a live band for the Yeezus tour. I'll be shocked and majorly disappointed if he doesn't shut the festival down in a major way.

They were great at Blockparty two years ago and then one time Killer Mike passed me a bottle of Cristal. That's awesome and not surprising. After their first performance at the Hawthorne, they literally signed autographs and bullshitted with fans for over an hour after the show. Both him and El-P are some cool dudes.

Run the Jewels will be the best hiphop act either way. This is a fact. I've seen them twice in Portland and they've put on some of the best shows of the last several years, all genres included.

Another impressive track from her. I can't wait to see her perform at Sasquatch and for her album to drop in September. I also wouldn't mind having her babies.

Nothing here either. I've been checking my mail daily hoping to get them. I swear the schedule announcement is taking longer than usual as well. Or am I full of shit?

Everything I've heard from friends and what I've gathered online, their weekend 2 performance was 10 times better. I have 100% they will put on a great performance for Sasquatch.
