Driving back to Nevada was smooth sailing for us, but the other lanes going North looked brutally long.
Great weekend though. Banks, Sol, Tycho, and De La Soul were all really good surprises. They all brought the party and got the crowd really amped. Gessafelstein was a let down though. Maybe I just hyped it up too much in my mind, but it wasn't as intense or dark as I was expecting.
Boys Noize, Outkast, MIA, Kid Cudi, and Foster the People were my favorite sets of the weekend. Geez... talk about gorgeous weather too.

I thought they killed it at Outside Lands. I figure I'll be happy hearing 1/3 or 1/2 of 'kast's set and then move on over.

I hope some of those (especially XXYYXX, Caribou, Jamie XX, and Thundercat) play Treasure Island this year...

I've got some serious holes in my schedule. Anybody have any suggestions? Saturday you've got some space for Radiation City and Sol.. although those blocks could be use for other.... things.

In exactly a week, I will have been driving for 8 hours and will be on the verge of passing out.
Any good ideas on some good, long albums that can keep me up throughout the night? There's only so many times I can listen to Donuts and Good Kid, MAAD City on repeat.

Who are you guys looking forward to seeing early in the afternoon on Saturday and Sunday? I feel like if I don't get excited about somebody, I may just get too drunk in the campground and show up around 5pm.

We saw Animal Collective in Redway CA before Centipede Hz came out, and they played pretty much the entire album before anybody heard it along with Summertime Clothes and Did You See The Words. Maybe it was just the crowd, maybe it was the tiny venue, maybe it was the fact that no-one had any idea what they were playing, but there just didn't seem to be a lot of energy there.
I'm going from M.I.A. straight to Tokimonsta, but I am biased because both have been on my wish list for a couple years now, same with Washed Out. I had to miss them at sasquatch 2011 for who-knows-what reason, and of course De La! I'll probably go check out Liars for a little bit, but I will be camping out on the grass, on the grass all afternoon Friday.

I was tossing up driving to Sac to watch Tycho play next weekend and decided to just save the money for Sasquatch. Talk about a sweet deal, especially because I will have no conflict there. Bummed though, as AlunaGeorge was one of my favorite finds because of Sasquatch.
EDIT: And who wants to start taking bets that they will be billed for next year?

Well let me get this topic back on track...
Did they have the view bar back in 2011? I never remember seeing it. Is it a place where I can drink a $9 Heineken and stare at the Columbia while listening to (insert main stage artist)?

$20 per day, or $50 for all three.

Anybody else jump on the lockers? This is my first time using lockers at a fest and I'm pretty excited, especially for Sasquatch since I won't have to carry a blanket around with me after I'm done doing some majah chillin at the main stage.

For the record, I got an email back from the RFID squad at Sasquatch:
"The idea is to register the wristband under the name of person wearing it. This allows us to help people at the Box Office should a problem arises with the wrist for which they are not the original purchaser. Seeing how your wife is wearing the wristband, I will assume you are both going together to the festival? should she have any problems with the wristband over the weekend you would need to accompany her to the Box Office as we will be able to help you as the registered owner."

You know, instead of my name on one ticket and her name on the other one.

I searched and couldn't really find a solid answer. When activating the tickets, does it matter whose name I put down for the activation? I filled in my name on the activation screen for both tickets I bought, will that matter when we get up to the Gorge?

The only one that bums me out is Classixx vs. Foster the people. If I was by myself, I know what I would choose, but sadly, that's not the case.

The last time we went, I think we woke up at like 7:30 or 8:00 and it was a ghost town. From where we were camped, I'm surprised we didn't get run over or anything.

Damn... I was excited to see Gesaffelstein if there were no conflicts, but after seeing that video it makes it more of a priority.
