woooo 3 stages indeed! You win this round Jeffry Canuck I wonder if it will be all music, if it's all music that reads to me like a larger lineup than has been hinted.

Hahahahahaha omg die Antwoord. Well at least the last time I saw them there was no die Antwoord involved. Not even close. Jesus. Die Antwoord is one of the MOST awful artists of all time. Die Antwoord is like watching Satan in a dumpster fire. FM Belfast is one of the most fun joyful live acts I've ever seen. But no they are still very local to Reykjavik. I have other theories of why they could possibly play this Frasier. Haha no that's my bad, I wasn't clear. They didn't sound like Die Antwoord at all. We set aside one night to go see a local show and they headlined a showcase the Grapevine was doing. All the other bands sounded like Die Antwoord and it was hilarious. I had no idea how deep their influence went. THANK GOD BECAUSE I CRIED OVER what i thought was the comparison Do you remember the names of the other bands? Were you there for Airwaves or was it just a random show?

These are my predicciónes for Frasier so far (these are based on tour dates, crossover counts, cryptic emojis from Snacks, and my dreams): Japanese Breakfast Khruangbin (if not Khruangbin, Mitski) Iron & Wine Calexico Kate Tempest Fontaines D.C. Thunderpussy Alex Lahey Say Hi And my one way out of the park ballpark hunch dream: FM Belfast Edit: I also noticed a Seattle band called Racoma made a comment or two on Frasier social posts so I'd say they could be a Frasier. Needs more Weeeeeeeeezer. Live Nation isn't booking the fest anymore

These are my predicciónes for Frasier so far (these are based on opera dates, symphony counts, cryptic emojis from Daphne, and my dreams): Low in fat, high in fiber Breakfast Khruaviar (if not Khruaviar, an Hungarian goose) Sherry & Wine Kelsey Grammer but it’s 1/3 stand-up, 1/3 innocently conducting Brahms and 1/3 ‘Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs’ Kate Costas Freddy Chainsaw Lilith Sternin Hologram Party Marty Say Hi to your son but only once per season And my one way out of the park ballpark hunch dream: T.H. Houghton Edit: I also noticed Frederick’s goth band called Racoma made a comment or two on Frasier social posts so I'd say they could be a Frasier. I LIKE THIS LIST WAY BETTER IS IT TOO LONG TO SIG

and just FYI if you don't know, GET KNOWED: Are these guys big now? When I went to Iceland (2015) I caught them in a bar with a bunch of other bands ripping off Die Antwoord and just assumed they were a local Frasier. Hahahahahaha omg die Antwoord. Well at least the last time I saw them there was no die Antwoord involved. Not even close. Jesus. Die Antwoord is one of the MOST awful artists of all time. I have other theories of why they could possibly play this thing.

The official twitter for the band Say Hi liked Snacks’ tweet that simply read “Frasier”, so I’m speculating they could be involved. I noticed that too, and he followed all the socials. I think Snacks and Eric are BFFs so that would make sense. And be unique from other festivals - which I think is the main goal of this lineup tbh.

They’re skipping Seattle on their newly-announced tour, but but it doesn’t start until September 6 in Brooklyn. Do you know someFrasier more you’re not saying? No, just a hunch. I do know it was Snacks' fave band he saw at Iceland airwaves, and kexp loves them too and kexp is involved in Frasier in some capacity. But they are also playing Seattle in May so who knows. Also great new . And all of the above is what happens when we let nick take over. I'm dying. Full approval. 😂

Two Port Townsend's New Fucking Things I find interesting about the info we've learned today. 1) There is no mention of the word festival. It's as if they're trying to distinguish this as somePort Townsend's New Fucking Thing...different? Maybe to set expectations differently? I've heard that this is going to be smaller and more intimate than what we currently know festivals as, so this could definitely be intentional. 2) Anyone else think the description makes it seem exactly like what Bumbershoot offers? Especially with the mention of podcasts. This seems like an interesting direction to go with a "Port Townsend's New Fucking Thing" so close to Seattle happening two weeks before Bumbershoot. except this fest will have good music

Or maybe I’m an idiot savant? I ruled out Tycho based on lineup crossover info.

Maybe the person who runs the fest doesn't know much about his own fest. Who am I to assume.

So Iron & Wine and Calexico are playing Portland and Vancouver on August 23rd/24th with no Seattle date. I'd say this makes them just as likely as Japanese Breakfast. What's the rest of the tour look like? Bumbershoot starts on the 30th. Ugh forgot about bumbershoot, that definitely narrows the tour date speculation capabilities. That lineup isn't out yet right?
