as far as emerging hip-hop, I'd be pretty psyched for Azealia Banks and Zebra Katz

Who do you think will make the trip from Primavera this year? There's usually a little mid-tier overlap, yeah?

I don't dispute her looks or voice but it seemed like she didn't want to be there.

I didn't notice any surprise guests.

They sounded really tight for a newer band. I didn't think it was THAT similar to Fleet Foxes either. They had a great dynamic with the gentler songs and the songs where they got kinda intense.

BSS isn't right. They didn't play Art House Director. The order of the last few isn't exactly correct but I don't remember what it was.

I don't normally get excited about someone being ill but I was pleased not to have sit through his set before the xx. Did anyone like Mt St Helen's Vietnam Band? Not for me, and some drunk french guy was behind me with a foam tube (which he frequently referred to his magic stick) hitting my friends to the beat and screaming for City and Colour. Some awesome guy behind me called him out and the guy's girlfriend called him a "fag in a moustache". Amusing.

I didn't think this was their best set. This was the sixth time I've seen them. I'd chalk it up to setlist and 42(!!) hours of travel beforehand. From the new album I really wanted to see Art House Director and Water in Hell.. that was a bust. They were good but not great and damn if that Lisa Lobsinger doesn't come off as a lofty indifferent cunt.

I like Pavement to a reasonable degree but I didn't think they sounded great live. Please don't attack me because I don't care enough to argue the point, but I'm just sayin'.

boys noize was really fun and the only time the dance tent crowd didn't invoke suicidal thoughts for me.

I only casually listened to them before sasquatch but I really didn't think their recordings suggested such an intense live show. Not overly familiar with their catalogue but an example is Squalor Victoria. It had so much muscle! I'm hooked now and I can't wait to see them again at Osheaga. One of my favourite performances.

Sunday: Pavement, LCD, the xx, Dirty Projecotrs, Yacht to name a few. Only problem with this day is a lot of overlap for me.

I'm doubtful they'll play It's All Gonna Break with the time they're allotted. My prediction: opening with World Sick or KC Accidental and closing with Ibi Dreams of Pavement. I'd love to see Spiral Stairs come up for Texico Bitches but since BSS and Pavement are playing different days and Pavement jetting around quite a bit I'd deem it unlikely. No matter what they play it won't be a disappointment.

Pavement vs Dirty Projectors if you're aghast, I'm seeing Pavement in august.
A little bummed I'm missing two artists (Girls and YACHT) for LCD but I've seen YACHT this year, heard bad about Girls live and have never seen LCD before. Just a relief that the xx and LCD don't conflict.
ryslice: I'm going to Osheaga too!

I don't like either of these artists but it seems to me it'd be easy to choose.
