This Ryan Adams hate seems to be misplaced, because he is an actual musician with actual talent, regardless of whether you're a fan. We really need to focus all the hate on Lana Del Lizzy Grant if we have any hope of her dying before the festival.
This will be my 10th Sasquatch, so I'm trying to focus on people I haven't seen much or at all. 1. Ryan Adams 2. St.Vincent (missed her last time) 3. Of monsters and men 4.Spoon!!!! 5.Gogol Bordello 6.Shovels and Rope (So great last time) 7.San Fermin 8.Bishop Nehru 9.The Districts 10.The Decemberists (Exception to the above rule)
Need one for a friend. (You can call me a newb, but don't forget I live tweeted the lineup a few years in a row before video became a thing.) ( I also threw a hissy fit about people trash talking the festival a few years ago and go rightfully burned for it, and am only now coming back from my cave of shame.)
Can't we all just hope Dr. Garbanzoinski's petition idea works? I'm waiting on that, but in reality I have a feeling Alt-J will return to Seattle sooner than the Lumineers and that might make the decision for me. As for the Reignwolf issue I think he can play a larger stage, I've seen him 3 times now in varying size venues and he seems to know how to adjust his sets accordingly.
Seriously no whining about the lineup, every year i hear the headliners are weak. Guess what this isn't coachella it's better. It's a better experience it's a better overall lineup and typically the sub-headliners are a hell of a lot better than Duran Duran. I almost never post unless it's directly festival related, but how can you not be excited about the multiple reunion tours? (GUIDED BY VOICES!) the overall quality of the bands that will be appearing and last time i checked the lips are headliner quality and they are sub-headlining. Finally Wilco and the Foo-fighters are obviously headliners that's not even an argument. UGH
So I'll get tickets soon as i figure out how and twitter the lineup from the party like i attempted last year.
Good mad. That will surely get your dick sucked a lot.
Man i wish. On another note does anyone else find it weird the party is on the same day as the Superbowl? It works for me because i have a Superbowl party to attend near by, but it just seems an odd date choice. Also anyone with info on how to get the damn tickets post here immediately!
It is official then i will figure out how to get the tickets and tweet the whole lineup. The only time i use twitter and this time i can walk to the croc not drive 70 miles! the twitter is twitter.com/#!/sasquatchlineup and as always I'll only tweet that night and nothing else. I get the rest of my rumors and late confirmations here for the most part. Soon as someone finds out how to get the tickets keep me posted
Speaking of Animal Collective rip offs, I'll take this point one further. When I saw Yeasayer a couple years ago, the main lead singer had the same hair as Avey Tare, and the same mannerisms. I remember thinking at least 38 times, "does this guy think he is Avey?"
I thought the show was terrible, only saved because the guitar/everything player is amazing. I'm still hoping they'll be at Sasquatch, because apparently I'm the only person on the internets who think they are terrible live. I need a second opinion.
Wooah, they were boring live, terrible I don't think, but boring. And yes there is a difference. i.e. death cab (one of my favorite bands but seriously they could just put they're album in and leave it's not the slightest different"
