It should really be the board administrators coming up with the rules if a contest is going to be posted here. It just seems asinine that someone who has never or rarely posted here should be eligible.
Unfortunately it's the nature of the beast if you want to do things the right way. I (personally and not on the companies behalf) made a mistake by thinking that we could set it up this way. Legally by making a post limit you are setting up what some could consider an onerous barrier to entry. Secondly by making some sort of extra requirement (think buying something) such a difficult barrier it could be considered a lottery. This is why there is now know limit. Again I apologize for the misspeaking early on.
Trust me on this there are a lot of legal ramification to doing any type of sweepstakes or giveaway when you are a corporate entity. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

Locking this thread down for the giveaway until I get official T&C's for everyone. Just a rundown of how it will work.
There is no post limit to enter
To enter you must make the following post: "I would like to enter to win two passes to Sasquatch! Music Festival"
Winner will be announced on Monday May 20 2013 at 10 PM
Winners will be selected using a random number generator. You can only enter once.
TO ENTER YOU MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE US AND MUST BE OVER 18. WINNER IS SUBJECT TO AGE VERIFICATION FROM blu eCIGS. YOU WILL HAVE TO SEND A PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR STATE ISSUED ID TO US IN ORDER TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE AND SIGN AN AFFIDAVIT WAIVER. PRIZE WILL BE MAILED USING UPS OVERNIGHT MAIL TO ADDRESS GIVEN TO US
I have no issue with spicypie's method, but my question for you burger (so much food), is how do you determine the twitter winners. I kinda Dr. Garbanzoured you'd use a similar method.
Through Twitter notate who makes a Retweet and then use a random number generator each day. Shameless self promotion here if anyone on the board is interested in entering the contest active now outside of the board.
I can pull however you guys see fit. If it's a hat we can do that and film it. I'll let you guys decide the method but it needs to be decided today since I have to do all the legal T&C's that come with something like this. I would prefer to let it run over the weekend and pull on Monday. Keep in mind that for this giveaway you will need to send a photocopy (fax or email) to us and sign a release. The ID is to ensure you are both who you say you are and over 18. The release is due to the the prize exceeding $300 in total.
Just as a side note if we do Sasquatch next year I'll try to hold over more tickets for this board. I didn't find it until yesterday when looking for places to promote. I frequent boards a lot and hate when no one on the board gets anything out of it. Anyways thanks for being so receptive to this.

I'm a pretty big weather hobbyist in my spare time. It's good to look at models such as the GFS and Euro which are what meteorologist use to come up with their forecasts. It looks like according to the GFS it will be beautiful and not too hot. This is for Friday of next week.
I think an e-cig company giving away tickets to a minor could be seen in some ways as trying to entice underage people to use/buy tobacco products even though it's illegal.
Also some people just general feel that any form of tobacco or ecig use is just morally wrong. It's fine to each their own but it does come up which is why I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't step on anyone's toes so to speak.
