No St Vincent, though But most of you guys just saw her, so it's a small price to pay for this beauty. Honestly dude if this is real I'm going to cry tears of joy for you. I know how important it is to you for Byrne to be there.

I can't help but feel like this is too good to be true. Last year fucked up, but this just works. It lines up with everything we've speculated and everything makes sense, but it's just too perfect.

This was brought up in the other thread, then immediately buried by shitposting, Feel free to edit or change your guesses as many times as you like, but try to keep the shitposting to a minimum. Hey Professor Mr. Reverend Administrator Pancakes, are you gonna enforce your rules, or what? What is shitposting in multiple threads called? Polymorphic posting with a feculant bias. This is minimal shitposting. I’ll allow it.

Snoop is playing Grizzly Fest and we have zero crossovers there. See also: Nas, Foster the People, Phantogram, and Action Bronson. I thought Action Bronson was cancelled out some how. That was probably before this thread went full shitposing. He is. All the artists I mentioned there are playing Grizzly Fest and thus ruled out.

Snoop Dogg’s gospel album, Bible of Love, comes out March 16th. He’s a long shot but if any festival could use God well... See: Emptyfox’s great new avatar. Snoop is playing Grizzly Fest and we have zero crossovers there. See also: Nas, Foster the People, Phantogram, and Action Bronson.

Even though I would prefer Maynard stayed home to finish the new Tool album, I know he won't. So he might as well play Sasquatch.

I have made literally zero contribution to the speculation this year and I haven’t read this thread through so forgive me if this has been discussed A Perfect Circle play Ohio on the 25th of may before heading to Germany for the beginning of June... possible? Yes... plausible? I don’t know... They have crossed my mind as well. I know we'll never get Tool (even though Snacks wants them), but APC might be his way of compromising.

Manchester Orchestra is playing Bottlerock on the 27th not the 26th. My bad! You are completely correct. Manchester Orchestra plays Boston Calling 5/26 and BottleRock 5/27, leaving only 5/25 available for Sasquatch. It seems incredibly unlikely they'd go Sasquatch -> Boston Calling -> BottleRock in three days. Have we talked about this before? I don't remember talking about it. Bummer! I've really enjoyed getting into A Black Mile to the Surface the last few weeks. We talked about it, but it kind of got overshadowed by The Killers and their magical tour bus that defies the laws of space and time.

For the record, Hungry Troll "liked" my prediction and, as far as I can tell, nobody else's. So consider that a confirmation.

are they ruled out or still in the running? It's so hard to keep up They're playing Boston Calling on 5/25 and BottleRock on 5/26, so they are possible for Sasquatch on 5/27. They are pitching in on the time machine with The Killers.

Y'all, Modest Mouse isn't taking sub-headliner money when they've been a headliner before. So if they're making headliner money to not headline, that's a really inefficient use of funds by Live Nation, unless they think it's an act who really moves the needle on attendance, like, possibly... Halsey. (Disclaimer: I would not put it past Live Nation to make a bad business decision.) This was what started me down the path of thinking they might go with the dual headliners. I know it's a long shot and I don't even know how they would schedule them, but it's the only thing that makes sense to me if we're really considering Modest Mouse to be likely. I know they're local and they are pretty great, but I just can't see them taking a headliner spot to themselves when they just played in 2015 and haven't put out any new music since.

If Bonny Bear does 2 nights, I'm gonna have to drop bank and make it to sasquatch this year and say BYE to my responsibilities. Still can't get over that 2012 set, 6 years later. I legit get tearful every time I hear those songs, still. And for the record, from like 2300349 pages ago, 22 A Million is absolutely amazing live. And that is in spite of a bad coachella crowd weekend 1 last year. I didn't love the album at first, but man, it grows on you. Especially after the live show. 33 GOD is now one of my favorite Bonny Bears, almost up there with Minnesota, WI. Just listening to the albums, I honestly wondered if he would be able to hold people's attention for a full headlining set. But then I watched the Coachella stream and was blown away. I did not expect that many musicians it that much to be going on, but I was wrong. That set shot him up near the top of my must see list. Plus the fact that he hasn't played the PNW in so many years, it will be huge if he's there this year. 2 sets might be too much to hope for, but one will be great nonetheless.

How’s this for some rampant speculation? Since Bon Iver isn’t officially touring this summer, he can do whatever the hell he wants, and he’s already doing two sets at Bonaroo, what if we get two unique Bon Iver sets too?
Taking things further into the realm of improbability, I’ve seen a spike in the number of festivals with two names at the top of each day. What if Sasquatch jumps on this “double headliner” trend to try to really drive sales?
We could end up looking at something like Friday: Bon Iver / David Byrne Saturday: Bon Iver / Modest Mouse Sunday: The National / NERD
It probably won’t happen, but it would definitely put Sasquatch back on the map if it did.
