Live Nation isn't booking the fest anymore I said Weeeeeeeeezer, but Pea changed it because he wants to adopt a child with Rivers Cuomo and move to Montana. Goddamit. What the he has this forum come to when we out WEEN?! Maybe I should move to Montana and start a dental floss farm.

Couldn’t be. Buuuut, you are the only person I’ve seen publicly admit to liking Weezer in 2019.

These are my predicciónes for Frasier so far (these are based on tour dates, crossover counts, cryptic emojis from Snacks, and my dreams): Japanese Breakfast Khruangbin (if not Khruangbin, Mitski) Iron & Wine Calexico Kate Tempest Fontaines D.C. Thunderpussy Alex Lahey Say Hi And my one way out of the park ballpark hunch dream: FM Belfast Edit: I also noticed a Seattle band called Racoma made a comment or two on Frasier social posts so I'd say they could be a Frasier. Needs more Weeeeeeeeezer.

They feel about the right size, vibe, everything for what I’m imagining this to be. With absolutely no evidence to back it up, I’m picturing something along the lines of a two day event with something like Ween and Death Cab headlining, a few mid grade indie bands, and some local talent to fill out the bill. I’m not getting my hopes too high, but Ween alone would be good enough to get my $5 and the rest would be gravy. TBH I think Ween/Death Cab might even be too "big" for what I think this is going to be. I would say we are looking at like a Sasquatch 3rd line name as headliners. I really think he is aiming for unique and not relying on a big name to bring people in, like every other crap fest on Earth rn.

Gross. But just imagine if it was Ween playing in that little black hole. On a related note, I’ve started to rampantly speculate Ween as the headliner for this. Ever since Bananananana was so fucking wrong about Summer Meltdown, I’ve strarted to think that maybe his source was just misinformed about which PNW festival they would be playing and I really hope it’s this one. Yeah, I'm going to start willing that into existence. They feel about the right size, vibe, everything for what I’m imagining this to be. Anyone else think the stage at Fort Worden is the ugliest fucking thing you've ever seen? I honestly cringe thinking about watching music on that black hole. Gross. Courtney Barnett is fine but I'm talking about a different Melbourne-based brunette lesbian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Aphex Twin?

Specifically, a certain Australian saxophonist wouldn't be out of place. I didn’t know Courtney Barnett played saxophone.

They haven’t advertised or announced it anywhere I’ve seen, but Jive Nation is selling single day passes for Friday ($69) and two day passes for Saturday/Sunday ($139). As predicted, all the rappers are performing on Friday and everyone else is Saturday and Sunday. I have a strong inclination to grab a two day pass, but I’m still hesitant to pull the trigger, mostly because it looks like I’d be going by myself. But $139 for 2 days at the Gorge without the shitty auto tune rappers is much more palatable than $200 for the whole pile.
