You have to have the wristband on your wrist prior to entering the campground. Last year I made the mistake of packing them in my bag in the trunk and they made us pull over and dig them out before we could drive in.
As far as your second vehicle situation, there are two problems I see. First: if the first vehicle gets both passes, someone from that vehicle would have to stay out of the campground and wait for the second one to arrive so they could give it to them. Second: the yellow shirts won't let you hold a spot next to your first car; everyone is lined up and packed in tight as they drive in. Holding spots for another vehicle is strictly forbidden. If you somehow do manage to save enough space for them, driving through the middle of the campground in full setup mode to get to the first spot would be a bitch of the highest level.
The more videos I watch of Tame Impala at other festivals the more it bothers me that they're playing in the daylight when Ryan Adams gets to play after dark. Every other festival has Ryan Adams playing in the day and Tame Impala playing at night. I feel like the lighting adds so much to their set.
I feel the same way. Having them play in the daylight seems like a waste.

Could this be the year that Sasquatch doesn't sell out? Only two weeks left till the festival and tickets are still available, but people would be a fool to buy from JiveNation right now with passes available for $100 less on Stubhub, etc. Hopefully Snacks & Co Will take a lesson from this and make some changes next year like lowering the price (highly unlikely), changing back to the camping included model (slightly more likely), or at least offering a payment plan like other overpriced festivals do.
Alas, I must admit I am uneducated in the ways of Fuzz. I have seen the hype surrounding their 75 minute set and gave a couple songs a listen but, nothing I heard really stuck out to me, and I am ashamed to admit. Also, with their overlap of The Decemberists and Father John, I am going to have a tough decision to make. Fear not, for not all hope is lost, I keep an open mind and if I can be pointed in a direction that will show me the greatness that is Fuzz, mayhaps I'd be persuaded to adjust my 10.
Okay thanks for the info! I'm inclined to agree with you although a 9 hour difference between the two seems like a bit large of a discrepancy. Do you know if they stopped overnight on their way or drove straight through? Either way it looks like I'll be arriving Thursday night, just a little more exhausted than I intended.
I know they took shifts diving and didn't stop to sleep, but I assume they stopped a few times to eat, piss, etc.
I'll agree with the new guy that picking a favourite show is basically impossible. Some shows make me cry, some make me feel overwhelming joy, some are more... I guess 'spiritual'? It's really hard to compare the different kinds of feels they give me and pick a favourite.
Favourite festival I can do, favourite show I can't.
Do you also agree with his stance that "your" is an acceptable substitute for "You are"?
