Post Malone is officially out as a late addition too. Kind of unfortunate because his new song is very chill and has a good summer vibe to it. He’s shaping up to have a massive year. 👏 Post 👏 Malone 👏 Will 👏 Never 👏 Play 👏 Sasquatch!

I like the look of this, but the first thing that pops up is that Tyler will not be in the tent. He will be second to last on the main stage. I would have Jai Wolf closing the tent and Spoon - Tyler - The National on the main. Tyler was on Bigfoot last time (I think he closed it?), wouldn't be surprised to see him doing that again His billing on the poster makes him look like a sub headliner. Traditionally, the first six names on the poster are the last two acts on the main stage each day

Closing the Yeti would be ideal for me. Unfortunately not a very auspicious 5 thousandth post. Still... Dammit. I knew I was getting close, but I thought I ended the night at 4999. I was so ready to get up this morning and craft the most glorious 5000th post ever, but I fucked up.

I've only listened to Ray a little since the lineup came out and thought he had a very Sasquatch vibe. He will be a good set to relax on the hill with.
Edit: I think somebody said his backing band is (or at last was) MMJ minus James. So that would be pretty cool and would go a long way toward explaining how he's billed so high too.

So Pond goes to Friday. Stage and set time? Closing the Yeti would be ideal for me.

Pretty sure Pond will be Friday. They are in SF on Wednesday and then playing Boston Calling on Sunday. Contraire my banananess - Pond is in Boston on Friday May 25 according to their web page. www.pondband.net/tour/ My calendar shows May 25 is a Friday. It is 2018 isn't it? Pond's website is just doing the thing where they list the first date of the festival. BC's daily lineup poster shows them there on Sunday.

Gang of youths play Vancouver Saturday night so they will likely be on Friday as well... And Portland on Thursday. I think Friday makes sense for them.

Also, Vince played Bigfoot last time he came. I'm not sure if that necessarily makes him less likely to be in the tent or not, but I'd imagine he'd probably play Bigfoot again. Ya, there’s no way he’s in the tent. He played 3rd to last on the Bigfoot last time, so I see him either closing the Bigfoot or playing the 4:00ish slot on the main.

Honestly, there is still so much that we don't know about the day to day lineups that most of this will be an effort in futility at this point.

Also Barclay Crenshaw and Magic Sword will be in the tent and Julien Baker will not.

From time to time. Do you wish to die a noble death? A coward's death? A hero's death? A lonely death? You guys are so cute.

I must've gotten lucky last year I only tried it one of the days but they didn't bother to shake it. Sometimes you get someone who clearly gives no shits, sometimes you get fucking Paul Blart. And sometimes you get the asshole who made Burrito open his wallet then called the cops because of what he found there.

You mean the dumbass who didn't understand how Tyler could get to both Boston and Sasquatch in the same weekend? To be fair its at least a slightly fair point. First signs that something was up with Julysquatch was when artists were double booked The Bloody Beetroots #NeverStopNeverForgetting

also dang if the 2016 toyota music den was its own festival I would've gone to that, they had a better lineup than the rest of the festival Also the only place to catch Frightened Rabbit that weekend. Also how I got hooked up with the VIP platform passes that year.

Bummer. Maybe this will be the year that I catch more than 1 Yeti act. I was mostly poking around on the site to see who our corporate sponsor would be. Ironhorse Wine was a cool one, Toyota was pretty cool, Honda was alright, the Skype bubble was awesome for a charging station, and the e-cig one was a little strange. OH! Can anyone confirm or deny if the arcade village was there last year? I don't really remember if was in 2016, but I loved it in 2015. It was not.
