Maybe I should have phrased:
Hi folks, I have never been to Sasquatch, I am being held up from arriving on Thursday, but anyone who has experience with arriving on the starting day of the festival could give me a rough idea of what the lineup to enter the camping area would be like on the Friday evening, I would appreciate it. Keep in mind, I do not require a definite, down-to-the-minute time, just a rough ballpark of hours would do, you know, as I have never been and you all seem to have been many, many times.
Thanks for the information!

What will the lineups be like on Friday evening, say 8-9?

Perhaps, I wandered through there a few times, we had some friends across from us.

The pole was great, they took it down due to head injuries though. There was a fire in the staff area that was a lifesaver one night. There were people from bands jamming with an acoustic, excellent at 3am. The regular was really bad, www.pangcouver.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/P1040063-1.jpgThe glamping was pretty tight in places as well, when we first got there they told us it was too full and we would only get 10x10 instead of the advertised 15x15. A tough thing with a 10x12 tent. We said OK, set up along the main path and posted to their facebook that it was 10x10 and they immediately came and sorted us all out. I will have a BBQ going this year, last year it didn't work and my solution was to not eat for 4 days.... Not again! Stop by for some steak!

I heard the camping is in the same area, it looked like a refugee camp last year. Definitely worth the $50 for the added space and grass. We may try for the campsite prize this year, wasn't a ton of competition last year and could be fun.

I will be there again this year, ordered the Glamping as well. Looking forward to the relaxation of last year! I am hoping they will open camping a day earlier, like last year.

Awesome, I loved the teepee, and that MASH tent, I was in the big blue tent along the main path, sort of right in the middle. We ended up spilled onto the path with solar lanterns and such. I think we gave everyone a drink at some point, so chances are good!

I did Davers, it was awesome, it was hard to get off my ass and walk in to the fest, I could hear all the music, and the lounge chair was too comfortable.
It was really small in comparison I know, we ended up in the Squamish version of premier and it was pretty tame.
Looking forward to the massive field!

Other than the sort of hilarious "short-sided" mistake, blerg seemed fairly articulate as well as good intentioned, if a little reactionary. And magjua seems like good, articulate people as well. You're both welcome in my book. It gets chippy once in a while but I think we're generally polite. haha, I have been around enough forums in my time, this type of community is great, everyone likes reading a bit of drama with their info, especially while working. Every forum has it's quirks and kings, I find myself reading 30 page threads here and counting Grammas bans and rants! If I see you folks waking by the beers are on me. (campsite only, I am not a super-rich asshole).

My first year going, found these boards (a great resource btw) and am really not sure what I have stumbled upon. On one side its a great resource, the other seems to be the private message board of a few interesting people.
Either way, thanks and see you there!
