Nick, was it you that had the cutout of shirtless Jeff Goldblum one year or was that someone else? Yep. Same.

Hey Information: I believe it's been said you're out on the east coast. Seeing as you're a few hours ahead of us, think you could leave us a little something something to be excited about when all of us west coasters wake up? Thanks!

This is what happens when my wife works a night shift on Friday night. I drink beer and mindlessly tinker around on the computer. I wanted to get a visualization of what information has provided so far, and I pretty much gave up trying to order this beast immediately because Jesus Christ. Umm, I'm basically a couple blocks from you ya dink. Shoot me a text next time so I'm not just sitting here drinking wine alone. Give a guy a chancey chancey chancey chance! So drunk I screwed up quoting a quote. Jebus.

To recap: Frank Ocean Arcade Fire Bjork Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Travis Scott At the Drive-In Empire of the Sun Weezer Run the Jewels Sigur Ros St. Vincent Ben Harper Future Islands Mac Miller Foals Spoon Beach House Air Maria Bamford Franz Ferdinand Phantogram Two Door Cinema Club Bastille Bonobo Portugal. The Man Local Natives Flying Lotus Real Estate DJ Shaddow The Growlers Guided by Voices Cloud Nothings MØ Japandroids Whitney Noname The Revivalists Deerhoof Just under 40 names and I have interest in 20. That's unheard of for me. The To be honest, this line up (so far) seems pretty reasonable considering Sasquatch has gone from 4 days to 3 and needs to hit a homerun after last year's poor sales. I mean, it's a strong undercard, but not stacked to the point it's not believable. I definitely could see: Friday: RTJ > Frank Ocean, and DJ Shadow late night Saturday: St.Vincent > Bjork, and Sigur Ros late night Sunday: ?(Head and the Heart) > Arcade Fire, with Macklemore getting a hometown closer slot at the late night stage.

Just wanted to say, thanks Information! For real. Appreciate your willingness to do this and share the line up. Especially knowing you will face critics and scrutiny, even though you proved your computer ninja skills to us last year. Keep it coming my friend!

Arcade Fire / LCD Soundsystem / Frank Ocean
Chance the Rapper / Solange / Wu-Tang
Head & the Heart• Nick Murphy• Frightened Rabbit• The Avalanches• Big Gigantic• Japandroids• Bonobo• Broken Social Scene• Fidlar• Tegan and Sara• Modern Baseball• Carseat Headrest• Michael Kiwanuka• Franz Ferdinand• Joey Purp• Migos• Arkells• Kaytranada• Mitski• Flatbush Zombies• Local Natives• Saint Motel• Whitney• SURVIVE• Barns Courtney• War Paint• Strumbellas• Vancouver Sleep Clinic• Badbadnotgood
...some are a hunch, some by popularity, some are by their schedule, and others because they're playing festivals. I originally had told Pea back in October I thought Chance would headline, but I think Sasquatch will stack the top 6 with what will sell (while still staying true to it's identity). Once I saw Chance was willing to be billed 4th on a festival (Hang Out) I changed my top billing to a sub.

I always wondered where I would finally draw the line. It's Marshmello. Snacks books both Bjork and Marshmello and Burrito implodes and explodes simultaneously causing him to remain exactly the same except with many emotions. Too many emotions. He changes his name to BurrEmo and buys 2 tickets to Sasquatch just so he can ask for a refund on one. That one represents Marshmello. It restores balance in Burritos world and he has the best Sasquatch of his life. The end.

Boston to the Gorge is a pretty long trek in a day or two for any "guitar groups". Tool is the kind of band that needs semi trucks for their stage production, so sadly I don't see them making it. If Sufjan Stevens can get from Boston to Sasquatch(2016) with his theatrical set-up, than I honestly think anyone from Boston Calling is a possibility this year.

I have a feeling The Head and The Heart could be a sub headliner this year. They are the 13th listed band on the Bonnaroo poster, 8th on the Saturday at Coachella, and they were the 13th listed band back in 2012 at Sasquatch. Plus they have a new album out, they're from Seattle, and are much more popular than they were in 2012. Basically they can only go up. I wouldn't be surprised to see them listed 6th on the lineup this year, or somewhere close to that.
EDIT: They are also playing Hang Out and Govenor's Ball so they seem like a lock for Sasquatch

that gorge show was wonderful. not sure if it's right for the younger crowds tho. but fuck if i can see LCD and the Dead in the same weekend...uhhh take my money I remember talking to Weenie at Sasquatch last year, telling her it would be our (me & my boys) last one for a while. We had made plans to fly and visit family in Ontario this summer and were hoping to hit WayHome instead since we would be in the area. That plan has since been cancelled for awhile now, which left us pondering whether or not we could manage to swing Sasquatch this year. Alas, things went south before we could even seriously consider Sasquatch. Within the last 3 months the water tank in my house blew, my tires were slashed at a mall over the X-mas holidays, I found out my breaks needed replacing asap and 2 weeks after that I had a $1000 worth of engine trouble. And all of this financial drain occurring just a few weeks after I had dropped a bunch of cash on a engagement ring for my now fiancé. So it really does seems Sasquatch is a no-go for us. BUT, I will honestly sell belongings and take on a third job to get us there if Dead & Co. are a headliner! I spent years touring with the Grateful Dead, my boy's 1st concert experience was The Dead at the Gorge in 2003 where I danced to the song Cassidy with my, then, 2yr old son Cassidy. Not to mention that Sasquatch itself has been our family vacation spot for the last 1/2 dozen years. So to get to dance with my sons at our favorite festival on our family vacation to the first band they ever saw, for a second time(!)... that would be Sasquatch magic. I should have posted this under the "what made you smile today" thread I guess.

I could see Arcade Fire jumping on the festival circuit again. They have a new album out in spring 2017 and although they've filled the Gorge on their own before, they could just as easily change things up and play a string of festivals. Sasquatch 2017 could look something like this: Friday night- Lumineers and Fleet Foxes Saturday- Bassnectar, Run the Jewels Sunday- Depeche Mode, Chance the Rapper Monday- Arcade Fire, The XX I have no basis for any of these, just a feeling. And as far as Depeche Mode goes, I can totally see them as that surprise band that only Sasquatch gets, but who knows. After last year's embarrassing turn out for the Cure, I'm not sure if Snacks would risk it (but they will have a new album out).

1. Sufjan Stevens (And by #1, I mean this was the best show I've seen at Sasquatch. Ever.) 2. SAVAGES! 3. My man Mac DeMarco 4. Grimes 5. Ty Segall & the Muggers 6. Vic Menza (wow!) 7. Florence and the Machine 8. The Cure 9. Frightened Rabbit (in the tent) 10. Oh Wonder
*I made the decision to leave Autolux to see Frightened Rabbit because I was worried their Main stage set would be cancelled. I made the right decision. That being said, Autolux could have slipped into this list if circumstances were a bit different)

Tomorrow is going to be incredibly busy for me (packing, preparing, organizing), and then I'm catching the first ferry on Thursday to begin my Sasquatch adventure. I just wanted to take this moment to wish you all safe travels and I hope everyone has a great Sasquatch weekend. Make sure to say hi if you see me, and I look forward to randomly running into all my board friends, and the new ones I'm sure to make. See y'all at Sasquatch!

Nice catch Professor! I hadn't come across that schedule yet. I do remember Budweiser or some other mainstream beer brand having an acoustic tent set up a few years ago. Any thoughts on how one acquires entry? Open to everyone?

Is it just me, or does it seem like the closer we get, the more the weather seems to be headed in a colder and wetter direction. Whoever wished for dreery weather on here should have their karma allowance docked. Come on 80's. I'd prefer a comfortable coolness over melting any day. High 70's sounds perfect to me.
